This tier list will help you build a solid loadout in Chapter 6 Season 3!
Blasters and Lightsabers just about encompass the weapon selection in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3's narrow loot pool. While it may seem underwhelming, this change has been refreshing. It's provided players with many new and returning weapons to try without worrying about ammo.
Yes, these weapons don't require ammo, meaning you are at the mercy of the occasional weapon overheating, but which blasters are good and which ones are better left on the ground where they belong? We'll explore this in today's Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 weapon tier list.
Ranking all weapons in Fortnite Galactic Battle
We will break down this tier list, ranking each weapon from S through D, with S being the best. This loot pool has several options, including Mythics and even a Star Wars-themed grenade. After listing the item, we will briefly explain why they rank in that category before moving to the next.
S Tier
Mythic Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle
- DPS - 148.75
- Damage - 35
- Fire Rate - 4.25
- Structure Damage- 32
As with any Fortnite season, the Mythic versions of weapons will usually rank higher than the rest. In that regard, we have two Mythics in the S tier, the first being the Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle. This weapon's non-Mythic version is effective, making the Mythic version an incredible asset.
Although the fire rate is nothing to write home about, the A280-CFE's scope is its strong point. The sight lets you locate opponents at range and deal 148.75 damage per second (DPS). It should be a staple in your loadout if you can obtain it from an opponent or grab it from the Train Heist Chest.
Mythic Enhanced IQA-11 Marksman Blaster Rifle
- DPS - 144.4
- Damage - 76
- Fire Rate - 1.9
- Structure Damage - 76
The second weapon in the S tier is the Enchanced IQA-11 Marksman Blaster Rifle. Again, like the A280-CFE, the Mythic version ranks higher than the standard version for obvious reasons. While it has a slower fire rate, the IQA-11 possesses a higher damage capability.
Given its scope, this weapon is incredibly accurate from range, which we feel is better than the A280-CFE. You can fire off roughly four to five shots before the weapon overheats. If you can land headshots, the Mythic IQA-11, which you can obtain from General Grievous, is worth carrying.
Lightsabers
- Damage - 25, 45, or 150
- Attack Speed - 0.566667 Seconds
- Structure Damage - 25, 45, or 150
The Lightsabers are another guaranteed fixture in the S tier, especially when combined with the Force abilities. On their own, Lightsabers are solid, providing a fun and effective melee weapon that can block incoming enemy fire. However, they aren't as good when looted from an opposing player.
Lightsabers might be even higher than S tier when paired with the Force Push, Lightning, or Saber Throw. They also offer increased movement speed and a more efficient jump, making them an asset from a rotational standpoint.
Thermal Imploder
- Damage - 70
- Structure Damage - 800
- Max Stack - 6
This item may be an unpopular pick, especially for the S tier, but it's another you can abuse to torment your opponents. The stats above show that the Thermal Imploder can inflict 70 damage on hit and 800 structure damage. That means you can easily break an opponent's structure and severely damage them.
Beyond its damage capabilities, the Thermal Imploder is an effective rotational piece to your inventory. When used correctly, you can place a cone or a ramp above a Thermal Imploder to move across the map or take the height advantage. However, you can sustain fall damage, so utilize this strategy wisely.
A Tier
DC-15 Heavy Blaster Rifle
- Rare Version
- DPS - 168
- Damage - 40
- Fire Rate - 4.2
- Structure Damage - 38
The DC-15 Heavy Blaster is another fringe-S tier weapon. We placed it atop the A tier because it lacked a Mythic, but make no mistake about it, this should be another fixture in your loadout. What the DC-15 lacks in fire rate, it compensates for with its accuracy and damage.
Although it lacks a scope, this weapon rips builds and has the longest time to cooldown of any Assault Rifle in Chapter 6 Season 3. That's all to say, the DC-15 is a weapon you should prioritize.
DLT-19 Blaster Rifle
- Rare Version
- DPS - 167.9
- Damage - 23
- Fire Rate - 7.3
- Structure Damage - 21
The DLT-19 Blaster Rifle is comparable to the DC-15 Heavy Rifle. Each has its benefits and drawbacks, with the DLT-19 being more accurate. Additionally, the DC-15 has a longer time to cool down, but you can't go wrong with a slightly more accurate and forgiving DLT-19 Blaster.
Mythic Captain Phasma's F-11D Blaster
- DPS - 199.5
- Damage - 30
- Fire Rate - 6.65
- Structure Damage - 28
The normal F-11D Blaster will appear later in this tier list, but Captain Phasma's Mythic version is far and far superior to the non-Mythic. It has higher DPS and a slightly improved fire rate, which will fry your opponents and whatever building they hide behind.
Another reason the Mythic ranks much higher is the drop-off from this version to the Common through Rare versions. It's a far better option, but comes with the stress of landing at the First Order Base and defeating the boss character. We would advise that it's generally worth the risk.

A280-CFE Blaster Rifle
- Rare Version
- DPS - 127.5
- Damage - 30
- Fire Rate - 4.25
- Structure Damage - 28
The same description from the Mythic version in the S tier applies to the non-Mythic versions of the A280-CFE. Regardless of the rarity, you should find a spot for this weapon in your loadout. The Mythic version would be optimal, but the non-Mythic version works well.
IQA-11 Marksman Blaster Rifle
- Rare Version
- DPS - 125.4
- Damage - 66
- Fire Rate - 1.9
- Structure Damage - 66
As mentioned for the non-Mythic A280-CFE, the same sentiment applies to the non-Mythic IQA-11 Marksman Blaster Rifle. It doesn't deal as much damage, but even a Common or Uncommon version is worth adding to your inventory. The A tier is a fair landing spot on the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 weapon tier list.
ACP Scatter Blaster
- Rare Version
- DPS - 90.2
- Damage - 110
- Fire Rate- 0.82
- Structure Damage - 50
Of the two Shotgun-like weapons available in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, the ACP Scatter Blaster wins the head-to-head. This Shotgun is most similar to a Pump variant. It hits hard and rewards accuracy, meaning any shots you miss could spell the end of your match. This is the one you will want to carry.
B Tier
CR-2 Blaster
- Rare Version
- DPS - 175
- Damage - 14
- Fire Rate - 12.5
- Structure Damage - 12
One weapon, somewhat flying under the radar in Fortnite: Galactic Battle, is the CR-2 Blaster. This weapon closely resembles the Combat SMG from previous seasons. It has the fastest fire rate of any weapon this season and can work into your pressure on other opponents.
Enhanced DL-44 Blaster Pistol
- DPS - 144.05
- Damage - 43
- Fire Rate - 3.35
- Structure Damage - 40
B tier might be harsh for the Mythic Enhanced DL-44 Blaster Pistol, but unless you're Han Solo, this weapon is more punishing than rewarding. The fire rate is slow at 3.35, and missing shots in a 1v1 fight is detrimental.
Furthermore, acquiring the Enhanced DL-44 requires you to land on the floating island and defeat the Shogun X boss character. Only the most efficient sharpshooters will find this weapon worthwhile.
F-11D Blaster
- Rare Version
- DPS - 167.7
- Damage - 26
- Fire Rate - 6.45
- Structure Damage - 24
The F-11D Blaster falls one tier below the Mythic version for obvious reasons. The non-Mythic pales in comparison and is better suited for early game encounters than end game. We would recommend dropping this for any of the weapons listed above.
C Tier
E-11 Blaster
- Rare Version
- DPS - 165.3
- Damage - 29
- Fire Rate - 5.7
- Structure Damage - 27
Weapons in the C and D tiers are fine for the early game, but you would be wise to ditch them toward the end game. That's not to say they are unusable, but all the blasters and others listed above are much better.
The E-11 Blaster fits into this category. We've seen it in previous seasons and it's about as effective as the Stormtroopers firing them in the Star Wars films.
BARM-ST12 Scatter Blaster
- Rare Version
- DPS - 126
- Damage - 72
- Fire Rate - 1.75
- Structure Damage - 38
While not terrible, the BARM-ST12 Scatter Blaster is inferior to the other Shotgun-type weapons this season. With its fire rate, this version is closer to a Tactical Shotgun, but it doesn't deal nearly enough damage to warrant making space for it in your inventory.
D Tier
DL-44 Blaster Pistol
- Rare Version
- DPS 123.95
- Damage - 37
- Fire Rate - 3.35
- Structure Damage - 35
It was tough to pick one weapon to sit in the D tier, and while we love Han Solo here, it has to be the DL-44 Blaster Pistol. It's about what you can expect if you've seen the snarky smuggler use it in the films. It rewards accuracy, but your best bet is to use this off the spawn and move on when you've eliminated your opponents.
