However, many players are facing the ‘500 Internal server error’ while trying to login. Here’s what this error means and how to fix it.

How to fix Fortnite 500 Internal Server error

Restart Epic Games Launcher

The first step is to close Fortnite, and then exit the Epic Games launcher. Go through the following steps:

  1. Exit Fortnite
  2. Right Click on Epic Games Launcher in the Task Tray button (bottom right of the desktop)
  3. Click Exit
  4. Start the Epic Games launcher again
  5. Hit ‘Play’ in Fortnite

This step will ensure nothing is blocking your connection from the Fortnite servers.
