Vaults are more relevant than ever in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2. Except this time, you can't open Vaults by getting a Key Card. Players have to blow up Vaults by using Thermite, a new explosive in the game.

There are a few Vaults on the Fortnite island, meaning you could land at more than one spot. To locate a Vault you just need to go to the Bank in each POI. However, not every POI has a Bank.

Below is a list of every Vault location in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2:

Vaults are located throughout the island and can also be found on the Train, which is constantly moving throughout the map.

You can't open Vaults in Fortnite like you could in the past. Medallions and Key Cards do not work anymore. Instead, players have to blow up a Vault door.

Using Thermite, a new explosive that can be found all over the map, will take out a Vault door. After you have planted Thermite you can help take the Vault out faster by shooting some of its weak points with a Plasma Burst Laser.

Fortnite also announced that another weapon called the Rocket Drill will arrive later this season and will be usable when trying to open a Vault.

However, attacking a Vault will summon Fletcher Kane, whom you will have to fight. The notorious NPC carries a Mythic Double Pistol that hits heavy and has the Unstoppable Medallion. Make sure you are prepared to fight him.

Vaults are also heavily guarded, so be prepared to battle when seeking one out.
