Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2 has officially begun. Lo and behold, Zeus and many other Greek Gods have joined the Battle Royale island, and along with them, multiple new weapons.

Here is every new weapon in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2.

Fortnite is notorious for adding new weapons each season, many of them to do with whatever theme that specific season embodies. Back in Chapter 3, Season 1, the map took on a Spider-Man theme. Fortnite ran with this by putting Spider-Man gauntlets as weapons for players to use.

This has been a common reoccurrence in the game, and Chapter 5, Season 2 is no different, as Greek mythology joins the game.

There are quite a few new weapons that have joined the game, making for an exciting season.

The Thunderbold of Zeus, an infamous item within Greek mythology, is making its way to Fortnite as a weapon. People who obtain the mighty bolt will have the power of a God, as they fight for that Victory Royale.

So what does the Thunderbolt of Zeus do? The new weapon allows players to rise into the air and shoot lightning at their opponents. It has three charges each time it is used, with a cooldown between each one.

Players always have a hay day when a new shotgun is added to the game. For Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2, the newest shotgun packs quite a punch.

The Gatekeeper Shotgun is a quick-action weapon, which fires three shots almost almost as quickly as the player presses the trigger. Its fast-firing rounds are powerful, but only at close range, so make sure you are in proximity to a character when firing.

The Harbinger SMG is a bit more of a strategic weapon to be added to Fortnite. While the weapon is powerful, it gets less accurate the more a player shoots it.

The first shot fired is always far more accurate than the rest of the clip released, making the weapon great for close range, but somewhat ineffective from far away.

For players looking for a more long-range accurate weapon, the Huntress DMR is perfect. Using medium ammo, the Huntress DMR helps players fire shots from far away, piercing the armor of any enemy they can see.

Not only is this DMR strong, it is extremely accurate. Its fire rate, though, is much slower than a normal AR, so take your time with your shots.

The new Warforged Assault Rifle is a great weapon for players looking for a gun that has a high rate of fire and high damage. The gun can be fired from afar, taking down enemies from ways away.

The only downside to this weapon is its heavy recoil. While the weapon may be powerful, its shots give the gun quite a kickback. Be sure to practice controlling this weapon when using it for a more accurate shot.

While quite a few new weapons are coming to the Battle Royale, Fortnite still has a plethora of old weapons making a return. Here is every gun to return from Chapter 5, Season 1.
