So, when does the popular Halloween update release in Fortnite? The 2024 Fortnitemares update will be released on October 11, 2024. This is only a few days away.

Fortnite has already hinted at various unique collaborations for the Halloween season, meaning the game will be getting some popular characters from different horror franchises and more added to the battle royale.

From Disney to horror, Fortnite plans on going all out this Halloween for Fortnitemares.

While we do not know everything being released in the 2024 Fortnitemares update, we do know of a few new collaborations players will be excited to check out.

We also know that, like every other year, the game will be releasing zombies within the game. Be ready to fight off hordes of them!

One of Forntite's more recent announcements was the Saw collaboration. Yes, the infamous horror franchise will be joining Fortnite, with Billy the Puppet getting his own skin. There is even an emote that shows the character riding around on a bike like in the movies.

Wanting something a bit less intense? Don't worry. Fortnite is also adding a bunch of Disney villains to the game, and three of them will release with the 2024 Fortnitemares update.

Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent will all be added to the game in the next update. This comes after Disney put over a billion dollars in stake within Epic Games.
