With Chakram, a new weapon in Brawlhalla, Priya adds a layer of complexity to the game. Competitive players love that, and the character is super popular.

The addition of Priya to the roster of Brawlhalla Legends happened in early February 2025. Pro players sure noticed her and took the character to their labs. After a while, the top competitors revealed Priya’s true strength and surprised the community with how good she is in the game.

It’s a rare situation when a character is spammed so much at a high-level tournament. Priya was just all over the place at Brawlhalla Max Mode Winter Royale 2025. Sandstorm, Wess, Raydish, and acno? played her. V3M_T4QUILO won the tournament with Priya. The last time we saw this obsession was after the addition of Tezca and Battle Boots — and the character is pretty viable even after some nerfs.

After such a showcase, it is certainly the time for everyone to learn how to play Priya and master her combos in Brawlhalla.

How to play Priya in Brawlhalla: Guide

A great thing about Brawlhalla is that you can launch the game, grab a controller, and intuitively understand how to play it. However, some hidden tricks can immediately make you a better player.

This concept is totally true for Priya and especially her Chakram weapon.

Two forms of Chakram

With a Down Light attack (DLight), Priya changes the form of Chakram: fused or split.

  • Fused Chakram is slower, but the weapon hits harder. There are no true combos for this form of Priya’s Charkam.
  • Split Charkam is quicker, and this form helps players land their next attacks.

This is a very important aspect of Priya, and you should be aware of the current form of Chakram. Avoid spamming DLight, and use this attack mindfully to really combo with this Brawlhalla Legend.

Signature attacks with Charkam are the same for both modes. Priya’s Side Signature (Side Sig) is very dangerous: it covers a lot of space and hits even with the tip of the blades.

Sword

In contrast to Chakram, Priya becomes much more straightforward with her Sword. It’s one of the easiest weapons in Brawlhalla, but you should not underestimate its power.

As for specific things for Priya on Sword, pay special attention to Side Sig once again. It’s one of the best moves in the game for horizontal reach.

Priya’s combos in Brawlhalla

Thanks to the accessibility of Brawlhalla, it’s easy to spot the Chakram splitting feature by comparing the two modes. You can then just practice Priya's combos. The movement is super important in the game, but it is universal between all of the Legends.

Split Chakram combos

Side Light is a far-reaching attack, and with the split form of Chakram, it drags opponents closer to Priya. SLight is a very good combo starter.

  • SLight -> NLight
  • SLight -> DLight

In the air, Priya can connect Neutral Air with Recovery or Side Air. These are pretty simple yet effective Brawlhalla combos.

  • NAir -> Recovery
  • NAir -> SAir

When you use DLight in the fused mode and switch to the split one, your opponent is launched up, and this allows you to continue with Neutral Air or Side Air. So, you need to have Chakram in the fused form first to use these split form combos.

  • DLight -> NAir -> Recovery
  • DLight -> NAir -> SAir
  • DLight -> SAir
  • DLight -> Recovery

Down Air can be a combo starter when Priya is high enough above her victim. Then, it can continue with Neutral Air or with Gravity Cancel Neutral Light.

  • DAir -> NAir -> Recovery
  • DAir -> NAir -> SAir
  • DAir -> GC NLight

In the video below, you’ll find more combos for Priya: they are situational and may be difficult to land.

Sword Brawlhalla combos

Down Light on Sword launches opponents slightly up, allowing players to use different follow-ups. The attack itself is far-reaching, so it’s a great combo starter in Brawlhalla.

  • DLight -> NAir
  • DLight -> Recovery
  • DLight -> Jump -> SAir
  • DLight -> Jump -> DAir
  • DLight -> GC NLight
  • DLight -> GC SLight

If you are a controller player, press the jump and attack buttons at the same time for proper air follow-ups.

Priya has six levels of Dexterity, so she can use somewhat trickier Brawlhalla sword combos.

  • DAir -> NAir
  • DAir -> Recovery
  • SAir -> NAir

Practice makes perfect! Keep in mind the split Chakram feature and pick up a few simple combos. Play Priya regularly, and you will improve your skills with her in no time.
