Who else for the final days that Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators. We've hedged out bets with three Gaimin players, knowing they'll play a minimum of three games, with a possibility of all five. We're gambling with Team Liquid players, picking up both Boxi and m1CKe who've been consistent this tournament. Sorry Tundra, but the stats just haven't supported your play style, and stand-ins are a mess for Fantasy play!

With eliminations on the line, we can gamble on some picks that wouldn't usually make our roster for fantasy. Note we've picked cards with plenty of the bonus percent to "Deaths." These elimination matches will be bloodbaths and fantasy points are easy pickings. There's also no shame in dipping into your silvers at this point.

Mid
- Quinn - Gaimin Gladiators

- Tofu - Gaimin Gladiators
- Boxi - Team Liquid
With the matchups looking the way they did, we leaned heavily on table-topping Team Liquid and the consistent and reliable Gaimin. Quest Esports could easily replace any of these picks if you8 don't have them. Nightfall has been a great fantasy pickup the entire tournament. A must-have.

Mid
- Quinn - Gaimin Gladiators
Supports
- Fly - Shopify Rebellion
- WhyouSm1Le - PSG.LGD
For the second day of the Major, we decided to tilt to some of the teams that have performed well on day one. We doubled up our Shopify Rebellion picks, choosing to rely on Fly and Arteezy for a large number of points, expecting them to hit the high 40s. Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators slightly easier matchups on Day two make them natural picks. And PSG.LGD look solid, as China returns to form at Bali!
Bali Major Fantasy Picks for June 29
Core
- Yatoro - Team Spirit
- Shiro - PSG.LGD
Mid
- Suma1L - Team Aster
Supports
- Boxi - Team Liquid
- Panda - Evil Geniuses
For our cores we went with both Yatoro and Shiro, who have potential to find themselves in longer, more drawn-out games in their first two match-ups. One of those matches for Yatoro is against Suma1L, and while it’s generally not a good idea to pick players on drawing or losing teams, Suma1Ls consistency will make him a good pick. Boxi and Panda are solid supports to round out your roster. Make sure you’re picking silver or above for any of these, and replace with golds when possible.
General DPC Fantasy Tips
Here’s some general advice for playing DPC and Berlin Major Fantasy:
- Make sure you’re always picking players that play the most games. In groups, that’s the players playing more than one game, and possibly being involved in tie breakers.
- In the playoffs, a team may be scheduled to play more than one game if they win. Try and predict the winners for maximum points.
- Avoid matchups you think will be stomps, and aim for series that go the distance. Even if a player loses a best-of-three that goes to three games, they’ll likely score more fantasy points than if they won a stomp 2-0.
- In general, a Gold or Silver card is always better than a Normal. Even if you might have a player more likely to score higher, if you have a Gold or Silver player, pick them, or draw cards to try and get your chosen player
- After teams have been eliminated, you can recycle their player cards (providing they’ve not been used in a lineup before).
What is Bali Major Fantasy?
Bali Major Fantasy is a mini game within the Dota 2 client that lets you set a fantasy Dota 2 lineup and win Shards. There’s potential for up to 1750 bonus Shards each day, as well as Shards just for taking part. Make sure you play every day to earn loads of Dota 2 shards!
How does it work?
For the Bali Major, the DPC Fantasy season has continued from the third tour. As a result, any cards you’ve acquired over the season for the three League periods will work in the Bali Major Fantasy.
You’ll gain points for things like kills, assists, GPM, Teamfights won, stuns, wards placed, etc. If you have a Silver or Gold card, you’ll gain bonuses to those scores based on what it says on the card.
