Another season, another bug.

Wondering how to fix the Diablo 4 Season 8 Reliquary bug? You're in the right place! Season 8: Belial's Return has plenty of exciting things on offer, like the new Apparition Incursion boss-rush event and Boss Powers that should make build-crafting more fun.

One of the most surprising additions, however, is a three-tier Reliquary battle pass, which seems to be bugged at launch and is robbing players of their hard-earned Platinum.

It's a bizarre thing to happen, but fret not — we've got you covered. Here's how to fix the Reliquary bug in Diablo 4 Season 8.

Diablo 4 Reliquary bug possible fixes and solutions

Sadly, as of publishing this article, Blizzard has yet to provide an official fix for the Diablo 4 Reliquary bug. Thankfully, the game's community manager has acknowledged the issue on the game's subreddit and is gathering and reviewing information about it.

It's worth pointing out that the Reliquary bug isn't tied to a particular platform. Several players have reported experiencing it on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox consoles.

The problem seems to remain the same, however, on all platforms. Purchasing the Premium Battle Pass Bundle doesn't unlock the three Reliquaries, but costs 1,000 Platinum. The issue isn't limited to the Premium Battle Pass, either. One Reddit user, IPl4yG4m3s, reported losing 2,800 Platinum from buying the Deluxe Battle Pass — not a good sign at all!

As mentioned above, there's no concrete fix for the Reliquary bug right now. However, there are a few things that are worth trying. For instance, you could restart the game and check again. Usually, in such cases, Blizzard would either refund the Platinum or the purchased item would start reflecting in your account.

In the past, we have had trouble with Platinum purchases in Diablo 4's item shop. For instance, once, we bought the Envious Lust Sorcerer Bundle, but it didn't appear in our inventory and cost us Silver. However, it was rectified immediately after restarting the game.

It could have just been an input lag issue due to network congestion, as is usually the case during the new season. That said, we are monitoring Diablo 4's subreddit and all social media platforms for any updates regarding the Reliquary bug and will update this article as soon as there's any new information.

Blizzard will likely deploy a hotfix soon enough, so this shouldn't take very long to fix. In the meantime, don't forget to check out our Diablo 4 section for Season 8 guides, including our class tier list and best builds. And for everything else, stick around on esports.gg.
