Like Season 9’s Horadric Powers, Diablo 4 Season 10 will add new seasonal abilities known as Chaos Perks. These limited abilities will enhance your skills and include additional effects. Each D4 class will have access to 16 Chaos Perks, with four class-exclusive ones.

Arguably, the most notable addition in Season 10 will be Chaos Armor. These are enhanced versions of existing uniques with max power and at least one greater affix. Chaos Armor can drop for any slot except the one of its original counterpart.

For instance, the Banished Lord unique amulet can now drop as boots, chest, helm, or pants. This opens up the options to equip offensive perks in defensive armor slots. Naturally, there will be changes from PTR to the seasonal version, but regardless, Chaos Armor looks to completely overhaul buildcrafting in season 10 and encourage trying homebrew builds.

While exploring the open world, you may also encounter Chaos Rifts, little portals that spawn Chaos monsters and reward you with Chaos loot and XP, including Chaos Armor at Torment difficulties.

On rare occasions, you may encounter Chaos Rifts Nightmare Dungeons, which will be a great source of the Fleeting Hordes Compasses for the new Fleeting Hordes seasonal activity.

Season 10 will also tweak Infernal Hordes with additions like Chaos Monsters and a new boss, Bartuc, the Warlord of Blood. There will also be Chaos Waves that amp up the difficulty but reward more Aether.

These are some of the changes coming to Diablo 4 Season 10 - Infernal Chaos.
