Terminus Horizon is back with a fresh set of perks in Destiny 2 via Rite of the Nine.

Chunky 360 RPM machine guns are all the rage in Destiny 2 with a fan-favorite in Terminus Horizon returning via Rite of the Nine. There are a few god rolls of Terminus Horizon available, but we're breaking down the perks you'll want to chase the most.

Here's our god rolls for Terminus Horizon in PvP and PvE in Destiny 2.

Trait 2Killing Tally
Rolling Storm
Jolting Feedback
Origin Trait, Masterwork, Weapon ModTex Balanced Stock (Origin Trait)
Stability (Masterwork)
Backup Mag (Weapon Mod)

Let's cut to the chase here: There really is only one pick you should make in column one for Terminus Horizon and that's Reconstruction. Having the weapon passively reload over time (even while stowed) is very strong as you don't want to be caught reloading a machine gun in Destiny 2.

I'm giving three options for column two based on your personal preferences. They are:

  • Killing Tally is great for those looking to use Terminus Horizon as a "primary" weapon. Be sure to use Heavy Ammo Finder perks to keep ammo coming. Otherwise, spray and pray with plenty of ammo and damage!
  • Jolting Feedback is great for constant fire and add clearing, but you need to fire at a target that will take a few shots first. It takes about 18 shots for Jolting Feedback to proc. Aim at champions or majors while smaller targets are nearby.
  • Rolling Storm basically turns Terminus Horizon into a Thunderlord, summoning bolts of lightning on occasion around a target. Great for boss damage and when used in combination with Bolt Charge subclass perks (e.g. Titan barricade).

Terminus Horizon PvP god roll

Perk(s)
BarrelFluted Barrel
MagazineRicochet Rounds
Trait 1Demolitionist
Trait 2High-Impact Reserves
Origin Trait, Masterwork, Weapon ModTex Balanced Stock (Origin Trait)
Range (Masterwork)
Ballistics (Weapon Mod)

Terminus Horizon is certainly built for PvE, but there are a couple of PvP rolls we can work with here. A 360 RPM machine gun outputs a lot of damage already, but High-Impact Reserves in column two means we'll need one to two fewer shots to land kills.

Column one doesn't have a lot for us here. Most options are reload or ammo-based, and we won't be feeding hundreds of rounds into Terminus Horizon in the Crucible. I'm picking Demolitionist for more grenade recharge and spam on kill.

You can get Terminus Horizon by completing Spire of the Watcher in Rite of the Nine. Additional copies can drop by focusing for the weapon at The Emissary or by spending Nonary Manifold at the chest in Eternity.

Adept versions with extra perks and alternate shaders are available too if you're lucky. Complete the hardest difficulty of the dungeon for a chance at Holofoil versions of Terminus Horizon, which feature an animated star-like shader.
