This Destiny 2 shotgun is already shaping as best-in-class this season.

A Void Precision Frame shotgun, Scavenger's Fate, enters during Act Two of Episode: Revenant, and it isn't one you want to skip out — especially if you can land the god roll.

Here's our picks for the best perks and mods to use with Scavenger's Fate in Destiny 2.

There are a few powerful Void shotguns in the pool already as far as PvE is concerned. The tried and tested combo here for Void users is Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing rounds, but we've also thrown in a couple of picks in the first column that make this weapon a little unique.

First is Slideshot for those spamming dive and slide in PvE. Slideshot allows you to reload the weapon while on the move instead of needing to stop and load your next shell. Our other option is Discord, which requires the use of another weapon.

Landing final blows with a Discord Scavenger's Fate gives the shotgun a buff that grants handling and stability stats as well as a reload-on-kill effect for a short while. It's a unique offering for a shotgun and, provided you can manage activating Discord continuously, is a definite god option in the first column.

However, we know why you're here, PvP mains! Precision Frame shotguns have a storied history in the Crucible and this one is set to join the list on Day 1. Slideshot makes an appearance once more for that range boost and reload on slide.

We're pairing it with Closing Time for a range, accuracy, and handling buff when at low ammo. Since you spawn in with just two shots from the get-go, Closing Time is active immediately, making this a shotgunner's dream. You could go with Vorpal Weapon or Harmony, with a good primary backup, but once you try Closing Time, you won't go back.

How to get Scavenger's Fate in Destiny 2

Scavenger's Fate is part of the Tomb of Elders loot pool in Destiny 2. We recommend completing a full run of the Contest of Elders as this grants more opportunities for the shotgun to drop.

Be sure to take advantage of tonics to further boost the drop rate of Tomb of Elders weapons. Completing Act Two fieldwork and crafting other tonics will unlock the Scavenger's Fate tonic, allowing you to focus your drops even further.

Keep in mind you can't craft this weapon. To unlock enhanced perks, you'll have to upgrade the weapon's level by using it or spending Enhancement Cores.

That's all for now. Check back in with esports.gg for more Destiny 2 news and coverage!
