The first Stasis Wave-Frame GL is back with new and reprised perks.
The first-ever Stasis Wave-frame Grenade Launcher, New Pacific Epitaph, is back in Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine with a fresh coat of paint and a handful of new and reprised perk combinations.
If you own a New Pacific Epitaph god roll from when it first arrived, there’s not much to pursue here. However, if you couldn’t snag it from the Ghost of the Deep Dungeon before, this could be a worthy addition to your loadout.
Here’s our pick for the New Pacific Epitaph god roll and best perks in Destiny 2’s Rite of the Nine.
What is the New Pacific Epitaph god roll in Destiny 2?
New Pacific Epitaph PvE god roll

Column Perk(s) | Barrel Quick Launch | Magazine High Velocity Rounds | Trait 1 Envious Arsenal Demolitionist Lead from Gold | Trait 2 Adrenaline Junkie Kill Clip Redirection | Origin Trait, Masterwork, Weapon Mod Gravity Well, Reload Speed, Tactical |
Just like before, the best PvE perk combinations for the New Pacific Epitaph god roll are Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie. It’s perfect for grenade builds, and we find it particularly useful when running Prismatic class with Strand’s grappling hook.
Demolitionist regenerates grenade energy and allows you to use your grenade ability more frequently. Meanwhile, Adrenaline Junkie complements your grenade usage by boosting this weapon’s damage up to 33%.
Lead from Gold is always a good option for regaining ammo, even more so when using two Special weapons. Hence, you could go with that instead and pair it up with Kill Clip. It’s easier to boost weapon damage from Kill Clip, though you only get a 25% increase.
Other New Pacific Epitah god roll options for PvE are Envious Arsenal and Redirection, or Lead from Gold and Redirection. Envious Arsenal is perfect for endgame activities when you are constantly swapping between your equipped weapons. Like Adrenaline Junkie, Redirection boosts weapon damage up to 33% but is relatively challenging to stack.

New Pacific Epitaph PvP god roll

Column Perk(s) | Barrel Quick Launch | Magazine High Velocity Rounds | Trait 1 Lead from Gold | Trait 2 Chain Reaction | Origin Trait, Masterwork, Weapon Mod Restoration Ritual, Velocity, Tactical |
Wave-frame grenade launchers are not particularly efficient in PvP, and New Pacific Epitaph is no exception. But if you want to farm a PvP god roll of this weapon, we recommend the combination of Lead from Gold and Chain Reaction.
Lead from Gold can fix the ammo issue every Special weapon faces in PvP. On the other hand, Chain Reaction can help take down (or damage) multiple Guardians simultaneously and aid your teammates.
How to get New Pacific Epitaph in Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine

You can get New Pacific Epitaph by running the Ghost of the Deep dungeon in the Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine activity. The dungeon rotation within this activity changes every week, so you might not be able to farm this weapon all the time.
That said, Rite of the Nine won't conclude until July 19, 2025, so you should have plenty of opportunities to obtain the New Pacific Epitaph god roll of your liking.
Additionally, to increase this weapon's drop chance from Rite of the Nine, don't forget to Attune to New Pacific Epitaph in the Emissary. In case you didn't know, this wave-frame GL can drop in two variants — Adept (with double perks) and regular ones.
Lastly, don't forget to claim the dungeon rewards in the Emissary after completing a run, as these have the most chances of dropping the Adept version of the weapon you had attuned to.
