The BrayTech Werewolf is back and better than ever in Destiny 2 this season.
The BrayTech Werewolf was a popular weapon in previous Festival of the Lost events in Destiny 2. It's an all-rounder capable of effectiveness in PvE and PvP, but became aged when enhanced perks and Origin Traits entered the game.
However, it's back with a bang in 2024 with the Search Party Origin Trait and a whole new list of perks that make it a must-have auto rifle in the sandbox. Here's everything you need to know about the BrayTech Werewolf in Destiny 2.
What is the BrayTech Werewolf god roll in Destiny 2?
BrayTech Werewolf PvE god roll
Perk(s) | |
---|---|
Barrel | Corkscrew Rifling |
Magazine | Extended Mag |
Perk One | Subsistence Rewind Rounds |
Perk Two | Kinetic Tremors Onslaught |
Origin Trait, Weapon Mod, Masterwork | Search Party (Origin Trait) Backup Mag (Weapon Mod) Range (Masterwork) |
BrayTech Werewolf was quickly established as one of the most consistent and versatile auto rifles in Destiny 2 when it first arrived. It's revamping with 2024's Festival of the Lost brought it in line with modern-day Destiny, complete with new perks and an Origin Trait.
We're giving not one but two perks in either column for you to chase, as we believe any combination of these pairs works great in PvP. Subsistence and Rewind Rounds keep the ammo flowing for the BrayTech Werewolf. Kinetic Tremors and Onslaught both offer "damage" buffs (the former as an AoE blast, the latter as a ramped-up fire rate).
As long as you pair these damage perks with a reload perk, you're golden. I'm personally leaning toward Subsistence and Onslaught with as much base ammo as I can muster.

It's in PvP where the Werewolf shines. It's a laser-accurate weapon already, but just to ensure we won't miss a shot, we're going with Dynamic Sway Reduction for a boost to stability as we hold the trigger.
Target Lock is a great perk here as you'll likely be able to keep the reticle on target with ease. You can also go for Kill Clip for an enhanced damage buff — you'll just need to land a kill first.
As always, max out range via the barrel and magazine. Throw on a Counterbalance Stock and a Range Masterwork for increased efficiency.
How to get BrayTech Werewolf in Destiny 2
BrayTech Werewolf is one of Destiny 2's Festival of the Lost weapons available from Eva Levante in the Tower during the event. You can also find them dropping from Haunted Lost Sectors or any other event activity.
Once you've earned a BrayTech Werewolf, you can spend Candy and Eerie Engrams on rolling for more copies of the auto rifle with random perks. You can't craft this weapon, but if you're chasing upgraded perks, you can enhance and level the weapon up.
Once Festival of the Lost wraps up, you won't be able to get this weapon until next year. Grab it while you can!
