Learn where the Stamina bars are located, what actions consume Stamina, and how to manage it effectively.

Stamina plays an important part in Deadlock. It's essentially what determines if players are capable of doing actions such as the Double Jump, Dash, and Air Dash at that moment or if they have to wait for the Stamina bars to recharge.

However, as Deadlock is still pretty much a new game, not a lot of players understand how Stamina works. This article will cover everything you need to know about Stamina in Valve's new MOBA and hero shooter.

Where can I find the Stamina bars in Deadlock?

Most Deadlock heroes have three Stamina bars. You can find them right next to your crosshair and ammo count, as you can also see in our screenshot below.

What happens when you run out of Stamina in Deadlock?

If you run out of Stamina, you won't be able to Double Jump, Dash, Air Dash, or Dash Jump until you have enough Stamina again. The game will tell you don't have Stamina and you'll have to wait a couple of seconds while it regenerates.

By the way, when you use one of your Stamina bars, you'll notice the bar will become yellow while it's regenerating.

How to manage Stamina effectively in Deadlock

To manage your Stamina effectively, you must pay attention to how many bars you have — especially in engagements and big team fights. Avoid using all of them at once unless it's necessary as you can regret not having Stamina when you need it most.

If you save at least one Stamina bar during most parts of the match, you should have the ability to dive into an enemy, dodge a huge attack, or escape, for example.

Now that you understand how Stamina works in Deadlock, you can also learn how to Dash, Air Dash, and Dash Jump.
