Will copying his crosshair make you play as well as Sh1ro? Maybe not, but it’s worth a try.

Cloud9 is one of the best CS: GO teams in the world. The CIS team has been the best team in the world for a long time and one of the reasons for the team’s success is the team’s primary AWPer, Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov. Cloud9 reached the quarterfinals of IEM Rio Major going up against MOUZ in the elimination match. Here are Sh1ro’s CS: GO crosshair and viewmodel settings.

What are Sh1r0’s crosshair settings?

The crosshair is the most important thing that any CS: GO player sees on his screen. The crosshair allows you to center your aim and improve your performance in the game. There’s no one fit for all in terms of CS: GO crosshairs. It completely depends on personal preference. Some players choose the default color, some change it. Others might work with a thicker border for their crosshair, several prefer no outlines.

Choosing to play with a professional’s crosshair can sometimes help you in deciding the best crosshair for you. Here are Sh1ro’s crosshair settings:

  • l_crosshair_drawoutline 0
  • cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1
  • cl_crosshairalpha 255
  • cl_crosshaircolor 1
  • cl_crosshaircolor_b 0
  • cl_crosshaircolor_g 0
  • cl_crosshaircolor_r 255
  • cl_crosshairdot 0
  • cl_crosshairgap -3
  • cl_crosshairsize 2
  • cl_crosshairstyle 4
  • cl_crosshairthickness 0
  • cl_crosshairusealpha 1

Sh1ro’s crosshair has a size of 2 and 0 thickness. He plays with the default green color for his crosshair. Being an AWPer, his crosshair is customized for an AWP and can be extremely helpful for players looking to wield the big gun.

What is Sh1ro’s viewmodel settings?

The viewmodel is the size and shape of the model of the weapon you are yielding. At the highest level, the viewmodel can impact your performance and vision. Simple changes to the viewmodel can ensure that you have adequate vision and can spot the enemy one second yearlier, which would mean the difference between a round win or a loss. Here are Sh1ro’s viewmodel settings:

  • viewmodel_fov 60
  • viewmodel_offset_x 1
  • viewmodel_offset_y 1
  • viewmodel_offset_z -1
  • viewmodel_presetpos 1
  • cl_viewmodel_shift_left_amt 1.5
  • cl_viewmodel_shift_right_amt 0.75
  • viewmodel_recoil 0
  • cl_righthand 1

Sh1ro’s bob settings

The Gambit CS: GO roster comprising Nafany, Sh1ro, Hobbit and more. Here are the Sh1ro crosshair settings and viewmodel settings.
Gambit finished 5-6th at IEM Katowice 2022, the first LAN CS: GO event of 2022.

The bob settings in CS: GO decide the amount of movement of the weapon while running and shooting. While it won’t affect your accuracy, the bobbing can be a distraction for many CSGO players. You cannot completely remove the bobbing, but you can minimize the movement and thereby improve your understanding of the opponent’s position.

The weapon moving up and down as you run across the map is impacted by the bob settings. The bob settings can affect your vision, although very slightly. This setting is usually something reserved for professionals wherein even a small movement can be distracting and sometimes block your view.

Here are Sh1ro’s bob settings:

  • cl_bob_lower_amt 5
  • cl_bobamt_lat 0.1
  • cl_bobamt_vert 0.14
  • cl_bobcycle 0.98

Launch Options

  • -novid
  • -freq 240
  • -tickrate 128
  • +fps_max 301
  • -console
  • +cl_interp_ratio 2

Shr1o is one of the most promising players from the CIS region. The young player has repeatedly put up impressive clutches and single-handedly turned the tide of a match in Cloud9’s favor. Taking a leaf out of his crosshair might just be enough to help you improve your gameplay. Hopefully, Sh1ro’s crosshair and viewmodel settings will help you rank up in CS: GO.
