Stage 3 recap

Team Spirit, MOUZ, FURIA, and G2 Esports opened Stage 3 with 2-0 records. This start put them on a clear path to the clean 3-0 that would send them directly into the Playoffs. However, that would not happen to all of them. While Team Spirit and FURIA managed to do it, G2 Esports couldn't make it until the end. The team was eliminated from the tournament after losing against FURIA, The MongolZ, and Team Falcons. MOUZ only lost one match against Team Spirit.

On the 3-1 ladder, Team Vitality and The MongolZ assured their Playoffs spot. While the bees had to defeat 3DMAX, B8, and NAVI, the only Asian team alive had to win against Team Liquid, FaZe Clan, and G2 Esports.

With a little bit more difficulty, FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere (NAVI), and Team Falcons managed to overcome their difficulties and qualify for the last stage of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 with three victories and two losses. The road ahead promises even greater challenges on their path to victory.

In the end, only the eight best teams remained. FaZe Clan stood out as the sole organization to advance from Stage 1. They made it to the Playoffs after 443 rounds, demonstrating an impressive run and remarkable resilience. They overcame NAVI, 3DMAX, and Passion UA, with their only setbacks coming against title favorites Team Spirit and The MongolZ.

The tournament says goodbye to eight competitors: B8, G2 Esports, Passion UA, Imperial Esports, 3DMAX, paiN Gaming, Team Liquid, and PARIVISION. While some underdog teams, like B8, Passion UA, and 3DMAX, were making surprising runs in the tournament, they couldn't make it until the end.

That's all for now. Stick around for more Counter-Strike 2 news, guides, and updates on esports.gg.
