Yes, you can call the bomb “Bomb” if you want.
Naming your rifles, pistols, AWP, and knives in CS2 is one of several ways to personalize your inventory. There's nothing like having the enemy have to read your funny weapon's name on the kill screen while they respawn.
But did you know you can rename the bomb too? You've been able to rename the bomb as far back as CS:GO, and it's super easy to do in CS2. Here's how to rename the bomb in CS2!

How do you rename the bomb in CS2?
To rename the bomb in CS2, you'll need to purchase a Name Tag from the CS2 shop. Name Tags cost $1.59 USD. You can purchase a Name Tag while attempting to apply the tag onto the bomb.
To rename the bomb:
- Open your CS2 inventory, then in the search box at the top type "C4".
- Click on your C4 Explosive, then select "Apply Name Tag."
- Type in your choice of name.
- There is a 20 character limit.
- Symbols are allowed, but some may appear as white squares in-game.
- If you need to, select the buy button at the bottom of the page and follow the prompts to purchase a Name Tag.
- Click the tick button next to the name you chose to preview it.
- Select "Apply Name Tag" and your bomb will be renamed!
You're done! When you spawn in as a terrorist in CS2 with the bomb, it'll have your name tag on it for all to see! If someone else spawns in with the bomb, their name tag will be used instead.
If you want to rename the bomb, follow the above steps again. You won't be able to remove a name tag from a bomb, but don't fret: adding a name tag to a bomb creates a copy in your inventory, so simply equip the tag-less one and you'll be right to go.
