Here’s how to download CS2 and be one of the first people to play the game.
Valve’s “Summer of 2023” date is close and the community is waiting with excitement for the official CS2 launch. The new game has been in beta since March 2023 and Valve has slowly been letting more and more players into the beta. On September 27, 2023, Valve officially released Counter-Strike 2.
How to download CS2?
- Open Steam
- Go to the CS2 Store Page
- Click on Install / Download.
- Your client will start downloading CS2
- Once the download is complete you can play the game.
Before you download the game, it is important to check if your system can handle the new game launch. CS2 has improved graphics and a slightly higher requirement compared to CS:GO. But then again, CS:GO was released more than a decade ago and CS2 is a brand-new game.
What's new in CS2?
