Here is a guide for the Kingdom Tide of Fellowship event in Cookie Run Kingdom, including the best captain and more tips and tricks.

The Cookie Run: Kingdom (CRK) Tide of Fellowship event puts you in the shoes of a merchant, sailing the high seas to do some trading between islands. The goal is to make a profit from trading food while avoiding the dangers of the vast ocean. The trading system in this event is quite complex. You’ll have to keep track of what each island demands with every voyage. Otherwise, you will be selling for a loss.

That said, here is a guide on the Cookie Run Kingdom Tide of Fellowship event, including the rewards, best captain cookie to use, how the treasure map beatles work, and some tips and tricks.

There are a total of five cookies available that you can choose as a captain. They offer varying benefits like lower prices, better boat durability, and more. Each of these captains has their own signature ships. Sailing with the said captain and their preferred ships grants bountiful effects. However, you don’t have to own the boat to assign them as captain.

Here are the CRK Tide of Fellowship captains ranked from the best to the least viable:

Requirements
Description
Obtain Millennial Tree CookieShip movement range +1 Tile
2-star AscensionPurchase cost for Produce -10%, Ship Durability +500
3-star AscensionDurability lost to Movement -10%, Ship Durability +500
The Silent Ship set effectShip movement range +1 Tile, Ship Durability +800

What makes the Milenial Tree cookie the best is how massive the durability additions are for the ship he’s in. This boost event goes higher if you unlock The Silent ship by purchasing it in The Glorious Voyage shop.

The only drawback is that he is a new Legendary Cookie. This means it will take time for you to build him up to at least a 3-star Ascension to unlock all effects. That said, once you have him with all the bonus effects active, your voyage is guaranteed to be long and fruitful.

Requirements
Description
Obtain Manju CookieShip movement range +1 Tile
3-star AscensionPurchase cost for Seafood -10%, Ship Durability +300
5-star AscensionDurability lost to Thunderstorms -30%, Ship Durability +300
The Red Knot ship set effectShip movement range +1 Tile, Ship Durability +500

If you don’t have Millennial Tree Cookie, Manju Cookie is a good alternative. He is an Epic-tier unit that you can easily unlock by regular draws or opening Epic Soulstones Choice Chests. The requirements are much higher, requiring a 5-star Ascension to get all the benefits. You don’t necessarily need to fully ascend him, as you can just sail around hazards to avoid damaging your ship. But the extra durability is a big help too. He is easily obtainable, so Ascension won’t be a huge problem. You can also purchase his boat, The Red Knot, in the Glorious Voyage shop.

Requirements
Description
Obtain Sherbet CookieShip movement range +1 Tile
2-star AscensionPurchase cost for Minerals -10%, Ship Durability +400
3-star AscensionTrade coin rewards from Trade Requests +20%, Ship Durability +400
S.S Snowfield ship set effectShip movement range +1 Tile, Ship Durability +1,000

If you have played the game for a while now, you may already have Sherbet Cookie. You only need a 3-star Ascension for him to get all the effects. However, his boat is the problem as it’s locked in a premium bundle in the shop.  This means you will be missing out on the extra movement range and 1,000 durability. He does have a pretty useful 3-star Ascension effect that increases the coin rewards from Tradfe Requests. However, you don’t usually get many requests in every run.

Requirements
Description
Obtain Seltzer CookieShip movement range +1 Tile
3-star AscensionPurchase cost for Machine Goods -10%, Ship Durability +300
5-star AscensionDurability restored by Ship Repair Kits +30%, Ship Durability +300
S.S Snowfield ship set effectShip movement range +1 Tile, Ship Durability +1,000

Seltzer Cookie is like an alternative to Sherbet, as they both have S.S Snowfield as their preferred ship. She is good at maps where there are Ship Repair Kits, letting you extend your run much longer.

Requirements
Description
Obtain Jagae CookieShip movement range +1 Tile
3-star AscensionPurchase cost for Crafted Goods -10%, Ship Durability +300
5-star AscensionDurability lost to Seaweed -30%, Ship Durability +300
The Red Knot ship set effectShip movement range +1 Tile, Ship Durability +1,000

The least viable one is Jagae Cookie. She is easy to obtain as an Epic-tier Cookie. However, her preferred boat is The Iridescent Wave, which is part of a premium package. This means you can’t maximize her potential unless you purchase that bundle. Additionally, her 5-star Ascension effect is useless as you can sail around seaweed. You are better off using Manju Cookie, as you can unlock his ship without spending real money.

Cargo Funds

Before you can start a voyage, you can load up some Cargo Funds, which will add to your starting money. The best goods to use for cargo are Map Fragments and Caramel Spyglasses. These are pretty common if you regularly manage your Topical Soda Islands. Otherwise, go load up the items you don’t frequently use. Try to hit maximum Trade Coin funds before starting your voyage to get an extra 5,000 added to your 10,000 budget.

Sailing to islands

Your goal is to sail between islands and trade goods with them. You can use Auto or Manual sailing. Using Auto will let you manually set where you want to go. This is the best way to sail your ship if there are no obstacles. Manual lets you chart a course yourself. This means that once you finish trading, your boat immediately moves to your set tiles.

Make sure to frequently check the value of trade goods before buying. You only have 15 turns before a new chapter begins. When this happens, the pricing of products will change along with the layout of the map. You will want to make the most money within 15 turns. You can’t afford to sail to an island for trading if you only have a few turns left before the next chapter begins. There is a chance your purchased goods could have less value on the island you want to go to.

Dock to end the chapter

Sometimes, you will not have enough turns to make it to the next island. When this happens, avoid buying anything and Dock on the island you are in. Use all the remaining turns to start the next chapter. While Docking, there is a chance to get a random item.

Once a new chapter starts, check the prices of trade goods and buy the ones with high value at your next destination. A new Trade Request will also be available. Make sure to check it out and plan accordingly.

Trade Request

The Trade Request will list some special demands from other island traders. They all have bigger rewards than regular trading. The requests will always be the most expensive item that the other island sells. Make sure you have enough funds to purchase the item. These islands can sometimes be far from each other. Make sure you consider the number of turns you need to use and whether it’s worth heading straight to the island to complete a request or doing more island hopping until you reach the island that made a request.

Obstacles

The map can sometimes have hazards you need to avoid. You will want to avoid all of them at all costs. Don’t risk making a shortcut through these hazards, as you might lose a lot of resources.

On the other hand, there are also obstacles that can be helpful. You can find Ocean Currents that can move a ship forward by one tile, free of cost. The next one is the Crystal Ball, where Prophet Cookie will make his prediction on the trade changes in the next chapter.  Message in a Bottle contains random loot. A Ship Repair Kit will replenish a bit of your ship’s durability. Blueberry Bird can deliver Trade Request items for you and complete them. Lastly, the Clam of Opportunity will give a random amount of Trade Coins.

It’s up to you if you want to waste a few turns to reach these helpful locations. Sometimes, they can even be within your path, so you get a bonus while moving between islands. The most important of these is Ship Repair Kits. They can help extend your voyage, especially if you claim more than one.

Island Trading

Once you reach an Island, check the prices of each product. You can see the Buy and Sell prices by tapping on the item or tapping the Trade Goods section at the bottom left of the screen. You will want to buy the cheaper items that sell for a high price on other islands. You must also consider if you have enough turns to reach the next island where the Sell price is high. This is because the trade economy changes every chapter. This means there is a chance your item will have a lower Trade Coin value once the economy shifts.

Trasure Map Battles

The map fragments you acquire from voyages in the CRK Tide of Fellowship event can be pieced together to form a treasure map. This will lead you to boss battles, where you can claim rewards. The bosses that spawn from Treasure Maps can be done solo. You should have no issue fighting them if you bring out your best units.

The Deep-Sea War Map Fragment spawns a Giant Coral Squid that you need to battle through the Raid Lobby. You can’t finish this yourself. However, you can invite people to help you in defeating the giant squid boss.

That's it for our Cookie Run Kingdom Tide of Fellowship event guide. It's just one of the few events ongoing in the game. One of which is the Holiday Square detective event, where you solve a crime and catch the culprit that's causing trouble in Town Square.
