How do pipelines work in College Football 25?

Pipelines refer to your program's influence on recruiting in various states. This is based on your coach's pipeline state, as you can see in the image above, as well as where your college is situated. Stacking these can lead to increased recruiting success for your school, making it easier to land prospects that are in your pipeline states versus those that are outside of them. However, some pipeline benefits are locked to the school and will not change in order to reflect historic recruiting trends.

All coaches have a primary pipeline, which provides a boost in recruiting. This is meant to simulate an area of the country where they have strong ties and relationships in recruiting. Schools prefer coaches whose primary pipeline is the same as one of the school’s recruiting pipelines.

When you are in Dynasty mode on the recruiting board, you can see your pipeline prospects and sort them based on the strength of your pipeline. You do this in the following steps:

  1. Go to Prospect List in Dynasty mode
  2. Click RT (on Xbox) and sort by My Pipelines
  3. Navigate to the PIPE tab and sort using X (on Xbox) and you will see your top-ranked players by pipeline (see image below)

What are the best pipelines in CFB 25?

There is no best or worst pipeline in College Football 25, but each does offer different benefits to teams that have strong pipelines in those areas. According to developers:

"Southern California is known for producing great quarterback talent, while East Texas consistently produces some of the best wide receivers in the country. However, we didn’t stop there. We wanted to go deeper to ensure we were capturing the authenticity of high school talent. Yes, East Texas is known for producing great receivers, but more specifically, they are known for how big and physical their receivers are. As a result, you are going to see bigger and more physical receivers coming out of East Texas, whereas South Florida is going to produce incredibly fast deep threat receivers who have a smaller size."

The bottom line? Make sure you are utilizing your strong pipelines, as they will give you a huge benefit in beating out other schools for those coveted recruits.
