You’ll have to sit tight if the EA servers are down in College Football 25, as the issue is completely out of your hands.

Thousands of players booted up College Football 25, only to find that the EA servers were down. That prevented many of the online services from being available. It was also accompanied by an error message.

Of course, the servers were overloaded at launch. Unfortunately, if you are looking for a fix, you're out of luck. Time and patience is the only thing to solve this issue.

Some of the most exciting features of College Football 25 are the ability to create an online Dynasty, play head-to-head against friends, and build your Ultimate Team to have the strongest in the community.

You can't do that if the EA servers are down and you're being bombarded with error messages in College Football 25. You'll just have to wait until EA stabilizes things. Tuning into the official EA Sports College X account is a good way to keep tabs on any server issues.

Thankfully, there are a ton of modes that you can play offline if the EA servers are down and you can't get online access to College Football 25. Try these out:

  • Offline Dynasty
  • Play Now against the computer
  • Try Open Practice
  • Put your skills to the test in a variety of minigames
  • Edit rosters and playbooks to upload for others when the servers are available
  • Test out some different settings in the game so you're ready when head-to-head is available

Usually, there'd be a list of fixes you can try. Such as restarting your game, checking your internet connection, or even making sure the game is updated to the most recent patch.

None of that will work for this specific issue. It is plain and simple that the servers are seeing way too many CFB 25 fans try and access them at once. They'll be up soon though, don't you worry.
