Here’s how you can flip a recruit in CFB 25.

One of the most maddening moments in College Football 25 Dynasty mode is when you have been recruiting a player all year, only to have recruits flip to another school at the last second and verbally commit. However, before you take those recruits off of your board, you need to see if there is potential for them to flip their commitment. Here's more on how it works.

When will a recruit flip their commitment in CFB 25?

In College Football 25, if a recruit has verbally committed to another team but has a Dealbreaker that can be broken, there is a chance they will flip their commitment to a team that meets that requirement. This was discovered by content creator Big Game Bengal when he had a 5-star flip from Tennessee to Nevada several weeks after verbally committing to the Vols.

So, what do you need to do in order to make this happen? Here are all of the requirements you'll need to meet to have a chance at a flipped recruit:

  • Finish in 2nd place on a recruit that has verbally committed (not signed) to another program
  • The recruit must have a Dealbreaker that can be broken, like Playing Style or Championship Contender (Proximity to Home will not work)
  • Leave this recruit on your Recruiting Board
  • The team that the recruit committed to must go below their Dealbreaker grade and your team must meet the requirement

If you have done all of those things, you have a chance to get a recruit to change their commitment in College Football 25, making that recruiting victory that much sweeter.
