These CFB 25 recruiting tips are game changers.

One of the most fun and immersive aspects of College Football 25 is the recruiting in Dynasty mode, especially in online settings where you are battling against other players.

But, it's not uncommon to get beat out by a top school or struggle to find interested four and five-star recruits. But, lucky for you, we've got some tips to help you land more players, faster, and at a higher overall quality.

#5: Invest in the Recruiter skill tree early, especially with a low-star school

The first two tiers in this skill tree are especially important for finding gem players and making your hours count for more. And the third tier, increasing recruiting hours, can be great for stacking up 60-75 hours on a few players early on. This can help you seal some recruits by around week five, and is the first step in landing that #1 overall recruiting class.

#4: Don't overinvest hours on single-offer players

When you are the only school in the running for a player, it can be tempting to ramp up the recruiting and try to seal the deal early. For some top-tier players, this may be an effective strategy, but for the most part, you'll want to dial back recruiting for players who only have an offer from you. This will help you to win the recruits you are truly battling for and get around to these players late in the season.

#3: Hard Sell pitch as soon as you can, but only if the grades add up

We have a more thorough deep dive on this, but basically, you will want to shift from Send the House to Hard Sell if your average grade is around a B- or so. In the scenario in the image above, this player is an ideal candidate for Hard Sell, and swapping to that will make a massive difference in earned recruiting progress.

#2: Frequently check the Prospect List for unoffered players mid-season

If you go to the Prospect List and filter to Any State or My Pipelines, you can toggle over to the Offer column and hit X (on Xbox) to filter for recruits that you have not offered and have not received any offers. In the middle of the season, this can be a great way to snag some solid recruits, with some 4-star players typically getting left behind.

#1: Don't feel the need to go after all 35 possible recruits

Overall, one of the most common pitfalls is feeling like you have to fill up your board and go after 35 players. Doing this, you will almost certainly spread yourself too thin and miss out on some recruiting battles that you could have otherwise won. Our advice is to go for around 15-20 at maximum and another 10 in the Transfer Portal. This will help you, hopefully, win more 5-star recruits and lose less overall.
