These teams have some big upgrades after the College Football 25 October patch.
The October patch notes were the largest yet for College Football 25, adding a litany of new jerseys, making adjustments to several game modes, and giving a lot of teams some facelifts. Now that the dust has settled, here are five teams with massive upgrades that you need to try in the game.
#5: Air Force, FIU, Illinois, and UCF
We decided to lump all of these into one to highlight some of the coolest jerseys in college football finally being in CFB 25. All of these schools had some of their most viral new uniforms added, including the FIU Vice jerseys and the Illinois throwbacks that they just wore against Michigan. #4: Boise State
Two words: Ashton Jeanty. The Heisman hopeful for 2024 has been an absolute force on the field for Boise State this year, and now the RB is rated 97 overall. With 97 Break Tackle and a 94 Juke Move stat, it's worth playing as Boise just to see how many yards you can rack up with Jeanty.
#3: Alabama
If you'd prefer to air it out, let us introduce you to star freshman wide receiver Ryan Williams. Paired up with a dominant offensive line, and one of our most fun players to play as in Jalen Milroe, the Crimson Tide should be a team on everyone's radar after this October title update.

#1: Vanderbilt
Speaking of threats, none have been more of one than the Vanderbilt Commodores, who took down Alabama in one of the greatest college football upsets of all time this season. Their reward? Upgrades to almost the entire starting roster, including a +11 overall to TE Eli Stowers and a +7 to QB Diego Pavia. Vandy is one of the great stories of the college football season in 2024, so give them a try!
