When does Season 3 end in Warzone & Black Ops 6? Season 4 release date

Season 3 in Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6 just arrived, and it's perhaps the most successful update the franchise has seen in the past few years. The return of Verdansk and classic weapons in Warzone has proven to be a huge hit with fans while BO6 multiplayer is experiencing a revival as well. While Season 3 is starting out strong, especially in Warzone, players are naturally looking ahead to see what's next, and that would be Season 4.

Season 4 is still a long ways away, as Activision wants to soak in the success of Season 3 for as long as possible, but we do have a possible release date for the season as of right now. While things can still change, the timeline that's currently in place should be when we can expect Season 3 to end.

At the time of writing, the current end date for Season 3 and release date for Season 4 is Wednesday, May 28, 2025. We have this date thanks to the countdown timer in the Season 3 Battle Pass, which is viewable for all players in Warzone and Black Ops 6.

If you look at the top-left of the Battle Pass screen, you can see it says "X Days Left." For us at the time of writing, it says "50 Days Left," and 50 days from the publication date of this article on April 8 is May 28.

Given that Season 3 began on April 2, this means that the season will last roughly 56 days, or close to two months. This is a normal timeline for a Call of Duty season, and late May/early June is when plenty of seasonal updates have gone live in previous games.

Of course, delays happen, as we saw recently with Season 3, so we can't take the May 28 release date as fact just yet. However, the date is the most likely time you can expect to see the end of Season 3 and the release of Season 4 in Warzone and Black Ops 6.
