Here’s how to inspect your weapon in Black Ops 6!

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has taken the world by storm, offering fast-paced gameplay, the classic Prestige system, various game modes, weapons, and more. Although the gameplay has taken center stage, some minor intricate aspects add more detail and fun to the game. One such feature is the ability to weapon inspect because who doesn't enjoy looking at the hardware they've worked so diligently to level up? This guide explains how you inspect your weapon in Black Ops 6.

How to weapon inspect in Black Ops 6

Inspecting your weapon in Black Ops 6 begins in the same menu where you will find your Emotes and Sprays. Unfortunately, unlike previous games, BO6 does not offer one dedicated button to marvel at your gun. Instead, you have to hold left on your directional pad (D-pad), which will call up your Emote menu. Once that menu is open, you will find a selection of three Emotes alongside an option to weapon inspect.

You can inspect your weapon by pressing left on the D-pad. After pressing that button, your character will flip the gun back and forth, giving you a complete look at it. This allows you to check out your chosen camo and attachments.

Here are step-by-step instructions covering how to weapon inspect in Black Ops 6:

  1. Enjoy looking at your weapon in all its glory

This is the best way to admire your Gold, Diamond, and Dark Matter camos, which are some of the most difficult to obtain in Black Ops 6. However, you may want to avoid doing so in a fast-paced game mode such as Hardpoint and Domination. It's better to utilize it in Search and Destroy or HVT, where the gameplay is a little slower, but hey, we aren't here to judge.
