A third weapon is coming at the start of Season 2 in BO6.
The FENG 82 is a new light machine gun that's arriving with the Season 2 update in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. While this might seem like normal news, the FENG 82 is technically the third weapon we're receiving at the launch of Season 2, which is quite out of the norm. Traditionally, we only see two weapons at the start of a season with more coming later through events or the reloaded update.
However, Season 2 is delivering a plethora of content to Black Ops 6, so why not throw a third weapon in the drop? Fortunately for all LMG fans, the FENG 82 looks to be a solid weapon that's described as slow-firing, but hard-hitting. Unlocking the FENG 82 in Black Ops 6
We've already covered how to unlock the PPSh-41 and the Cypher 901. Both of those weapons are arriving on the Battle Pass, as we've come to expect with weapons that arrive at a season's launch. However, in a rare turn of events, the Season 2 Battle Pass will feature three total weapons with the inclusion of the FENG 82.
You can unlock the FENG 82 on the Battle Pass by reaching page three. The FENG 82 is the HVT Reward on page three, meaning you have to unlock all the smaller tiers of content before you're able to earn the LMG. As always, the FENG 82 and other Battle Pass weapons are free tiers, so you don't have to spend a dime on the premium pass to unlock the guns. If you're interested, there's also a paid tier blueprint for the FENG 82 on page 10 of the pass.
Of course, if you want to unlock the FENG 82 as quickly as possible, you can purchase the BlackCell version of the Battle Pass. This costs $30 and comes with exclusive rewards as well as 25 free tier skips. With those tier skips, you can unlock the FENG 82 instantly at the start of Season 2.
You're also able to unlock the FENG 82 right away by purchasing a store bundle with a weapon blueprint included for the gun. We're not sure what bundle the FENG 82 is a part of or how much it will cost, but expect to drop around 2,000 COD Points for it.
