There are over a dozen Mastery Camos in Black Ops 7, and here’s how to unlock each one.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to feature a slew of different grinds. From regular Prestige to Weapon Prestige to participating in the new Campaign Endgame mode, the game certainly won't be lacking progression at launch. However, one grind that stands out from the rest in Black Ops 7 is earning Mastery Camos.
Mastery Camos are returning in Black Ops 7, and there are more of them than ever to earn across every mode. While this means you'll have more camo options for your weapons, it also means that players have a lengthy grind ahead of them. You can see how to earn every Mastery Camo in BO7 in the guide below.
All Mastery Camos in Black Ops 7
In total, there are 16 Mastery Camos in BO7. This consists of four Mastery Camos each in multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, and, for the first time ever, Campaign. We've never seen earnable camos in Campaign, but with BO7 featuring progression across every mode and the new Endgame mode, it makes sense for Treyarch to give players more rewards for playing the single-player mode.
At the time of writing, the individual Mastery Camo names and what they look like are unknown. All we know is that each mode will have four Mastery Camos each, and 12 of them will be available when BO7 launches on Nov. 14. The Mastery Camos in Warzone won't arrive until the BO7 integration occurs with the release of the Season 1 update. Season 1 should arrive sometime in early-mid December 2025.

How to earn the Mastery Camos in Black Ops 7
With the launch of BO7 still a couple of months away, we don't have a clear idea of how the camos will be unlocked. However, we can assume that the camo system in BO7 will work very similarly to how it does in BO6.
This means all of the 30 launch weapons in BO7 will have a set of base camos that can be earned by completing challenges (getting headshots, earning longshots, etc.). Once those base camos are earned on a weapon, you can unlock the first Mastery Camo (usually Gold).
After you earn the first Mastery Camo for every weapon in a category, you can likely unlock the second Mastery Camo (usually Diamond or something similar). The first and second Mastery Camos should have straightforward challenges for the weapon category you're using. For example, if you're using a submachine gun, the Mastery Camo challenges will presumably feature getting close-range kills, hip fire kills, etc.
The other two Mastery Camos will have to be unlocked after you've earned two Mastery Camos on every weapon in the game. So, if you're doing the math, that's a lot of weapon grinding if you want to unlock all 16 Mastery Camos available in BO7 and Warzone.
With Campaign getting Mastery Camos for the first time, we're not sure how those camo challenges will work. Since the Campaign takes place in specific instances and you often don't get to choose your weapon during missions, most of the Mastery Camos will have to be unlocked through the Endgame mode. Think of this mode as a mix between Spec Ops and MWIII Zombies.
