How to level up weapons fast in Black Ops 7

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, one of your main goals is to level up both your account and your weapons. We have already covered all of the best and fastest ways to level your account by earning extra XP, so now let's tackle what you need to do to level up your weapons quicker.

Below, we'll go over several different methods you can use to cut the weapon level grind in half in Black Ops 7.

While, of course, the best method of leveling weapons faster is to use them over and over, get plenty of kills, and pop a Double Weapon XP Token while you're doing that. You still want to use Double XP if you have it available and use whatever weapon you're trying to level up, but there are more niche ways to grind through weapon levels in Black Ops 7.

We'll go over a few methods you can take advantage of to level up weapons fast below.

This is the same tip we gave in our guide on earning XP faster, but it also works for grinding out weapon levels. Your weapons don't just gain XP when you get kills or assists; every time you earn any kind of score with a weapon equipped, you'll gain XP for it. This means capping a Domination flag or picking up tags in Kill Confirmed all reward you with extra XP for your currently equipped weapon.

The best game mode to play for the most amount of XP is Kill Confirmed, as picking up dropped dog tags is extremely simple and rewards a ton of XP.

While this tip won't apply to the launch of Black Ops 7, it will help out when Nuketown is released shortly after the game comes out. Nuketown is always going to be a great map to grind weapon levels on, as it's small and allows you to earn a ton of kills per match. However, you'll want to ensure you're playing the objective as well, both for extra XP and to not get spawn trapped on Nuketown, which doesn't result in a great experience.

Even though you might want to grind multiplayer in Black Ops 7, playing Zombies has usually been the fastest way to grind through weapon levels in Call of Duty. You can amplify this strategy by playing Directed Mode, which walks you through the Easter Egg steps on a certain map. However, you can also utilize Directed Mode to make it so rounds don't progress in Zombies, allowing you to kill low-level zombies over and over again.

Using a Double Weapon XP Token and going into Zombies for a long playthrough is often going to be the fastest way to gain weapon XP quickly in Black Ops 7.
