Here’s how to use Emotes and Sprays in Black Ops 6!
Emote and Sprays have returned in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, adding another fun element to your FPS experience. Although not practical to use in the heat of battle, you will often see your teammates and opponents using an Emote on the Winner's Circle screen after claiming victory. Surprisingly, Sprays are even less practical, but Treyarch included them in the game nonetheless. This guide explains how to use Emotes and Sprays in Black Ops 6.
How to Emote and Spray in Black Ops 6
Your controller's directional pad (D-pad) is the source of all your Emote and Spray enjoyment in Black Ops 6. While in-game, you can use Emote and Sprays by holding down "Left" on your D-pad. You will then see a menu on your screen's left side with two tabs and four options per tab.
The first tab is your selection of Emotes, and you can execute any of them by pressing one of the four D-pad directions. You can also use these Emotes while on the Winner's Circle screen at your match's conclusion, provided you finished inside the top three on your team. The "Inspect Weapon" option is also available in this menu.
Press "R1" to switch to the Sprays tab. This will give you access to four Sprays to use on the ground, walls, or other structures. You need to ensure you position your character toward whatever object you want to spray.
How to use Emotes in Black Ops 6
- Hold "Left" on your D-pad to pull up the Emotes/Sprays menu
- Select one of your four Emotes using the corresponding D-pad arrows, and your character will perform the desired Emote
