Iconic Black Ops 2 camos are returning in Black Ops 7, and here’s how to earn them.
There are more ways than ever to earn unique camos in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. From the basic military camos to Mastery Camos to Weekly Challenge rewards, you'll be able to earn hundreds of different camos right from the launch of the game on Nov. 14. However, there's now a fresh way to earn camos in Black Ops 7, and Treyarch has brought back some classic Black Ops 2 camos with this new system.
Below, you can see exactly what this new system entails, how to earn camos from it, and all of the Black Ops 2 camos available to earn. Spoiler, Weaponized 115 and Graffiti are just a couple of the options returning in Black Ops 7.
Black Ops 2 camos have returned in Black Ops 7
With Black Ops 7 being dubbed a spiritual successor to Black Ops 2, it's been no surprise to see so much nostalgia returning in the new game. Perhaps the number one source of nostalgia for Call of Duty fans lies in the weapon camos, though. You can easily see that in some of the Mastery Camos coming to Black Ops 7.
Black Ops 2 featured some of the most iconic camos in the entire franchise, and a slew of those camos are returning in BO7. Treyarch posted a short video showcasing just a handful of these camos, which you can see below:
In the video, we see Black Ops 2 camos like Weaponized 115, Graffiti, Cyborg, Bacon, and more. Some of these camos are animated while others are flat camos, just like their counterparts from Black Ops 2. Overall, the camos look absolutely fantastic, and they'll certainly be worth grinding for in Black Ops 7.
Speaking of which, you can earn these Black Ops 2 camos and a plethora of other unique camos in Black Ops 7 through the Weapon Prestige system. We've covered the entire Weapon Prestige system in a separate guide, but it essentially works like the normal Prestige mode in multiplayer.
Every weapon in the game has two Prestige levels, and once you enter a Prestige level with a weapon, you start it over back to level one. This loses all of your attachments for the weapon, forcing you to grind for them again. However, entering Weapon Prestige for a weapon unlocks exclusive rewards in Black Ops 7. This includes exclusive weapon attachments and, of course, weapon camos.
There are three Weapon Prestige camos to earn per weapon in Black Ops 7. There are 30 total weapons available at launch in Black Ops 7, meaning there are 90 total Weapon Prestige camos. Some of these camos are earned by entering a new Prestige level, but others are earned by ranking up your weapons to Max Prestige (level 250). Max Prestige can only be attained after you've Prestiged twice with a weapon.

After you unlock a Weapon Prestige camo for a weapon, it can then be applied to any weapon in Black Ops 7. This means the camos are globally accessible for all weapons, but you can only earn them by completing Weapon Prestige challenges for specific weapons.
So, for example, if you want the Weaponized 115 camo, you have to unlock it by going through the Weapon Prestige system with a specific weapon (we don't know what weapon yet). Then, after you unlock it for that specific weapon, it can be equipped on any other weapon in Black Ops 7.
More camos and more ways to earn camos are always welcome in Call of Duty, and this new grind seems to be well worth it with the Black Ops 2 camos available to earn. We'll have a guide on how to earn every Weapon Prestige camo in Black Ops 7 at launch on Nov. 14.
