Black Ops 7 Season 1 is set to be the biggest in franchise history.
The full release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is still three weeks away, even though some fans are speculating it will launch earlier, but Treyarch is already giving us jam-packed details about the Season 1 update. Activision has repeatedly stated that this Season 1 update will be the biggest in franchise history, and the content that was recently revealed certainly backs that up.
In a new edition of "Dev Talk," Treyarch has spilled the beans about several maps, weapons, modes, and Zombies content coming at and shortly after Season 1 in Black Ops 7. You can check the guide below for full details on every piece of content we currently know about that's coming in the first major post-launch update.
All confirmed content in Black Ops 7 Season 1
This is the first time we've ever seen this much information divulged so early about a Season 1 update in Call of Duty. Usually, we have to wait until just a couple of weeks out from the update's launch, but Activision is clearly taking a different approach with Black Ops 7. They've already proven that with the SBMM and disbanding lobbies update from a couple of weeks ago.
While we didn't learn about every single piece of content coming in Season 1, Treyarch and some of its devs let us know about a wide array of content that we can expect in the update. You can check below for everything that we heard about for Season 1 in the most recent Dev Talk:
Season 1 Multiplayer Maps
- Nuketown 2025 remaster (coming Nov. 20, before Season 1)
- Standoff (remaster, Season 1 launch)
- Meltdown (remaster, Season 1 launch)
- Fate (Season 1 launch)
- Utopia (Season 1 launch)
- Yakei (Season 1 launch)
- Odysseus (Season 1 launch)
- One additional map coming at/during Season 1

Season 1 Weapons
- Maddox (assault rifle from Black Ops 4)
- Crossbow
- Ballistic Knife
- Four more weapons coming at/during Season 1
- Aftermarket Parts coming through the Weekly Challenges system that will be able to change existing weapons
Season 1 Multiplayer Modes
- Sticks and Stones
- Prop Hunt
- Holiday-themed Limited-Time Modes
- More game modes coming at/during Season 1
Season 1 Zombies Content
- Astra Malorum (round-based map)

That was everything Treyarch revealed about the Season 1 update in Black Ops 7. Naturally, we still don't know about a decent chunk of the content coming, but the fact that we already know about this much is staggering.
