Here are the official EWC Groups for the Warzone tournament.

Call of Duty: Warzone has returned to Riyadh for the Esports World Cup (EWC) in 2025. After a successful tournament in 2024 that saw some of the best competition of the year, this year has the potential to see even more heart-pounding action take place. Warzone at EWC begins on Aug. 6, but before that, you'll want to know all of the teams that are competing at the event and the groups they're a part of.

Below, we'll showcase all of the Warzone teams and their groups at EWC.

Warzone EWC Groups

There are three groups made up of seven teams each that will begin the tournament. Teams can make it out of their groups to go straight to the finals, but it's not a single-elimination event. Instead, teams that don't initially make it out of their group will get to compete in the Last Chance Qualifier. Seven teams will make it out of the Last Chance Qualifier, and seven teams will go straight to the finals from their group, making it a 14-team final to bring home the EWC title.

At first glance, Group A seems to be the most difficult of the three. We have the defending champion Team Falcons at the head of the group, followed by tough competition in FNATIC, FaZe Clan, and others. However, Group B isn't a picnic either, as 100 Thieves and Movistar KOI both have terrific rosters along with some underrated teams in Five Fears, ROC Esports, and Gamax Esports.

As always with Warzone, the tournament is wide open, and anyone can take the EWC title in 2025. All of the action begins early in the morning Eastern Time on Aug. 6, and EsportsGG will have updates and recaps throughout the event.
