Best X9 Maverick loadout in Black Ops 7

The X9 Maverick is one of the more unique weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. It's an assault rifle that's built like a mix between a submachine gun and a light machine gun. It's essentially the polar opposite of a gun like the MXR-17 or the M15 Mod 0. You can think of it as a bullpup assault rifle that shoots with a three-round burst, which means you'll need to kit it out with a specific set of attachments. In other words, you'll need the best loadout for the X9 Maverick to get the most out of it in Black Ops 7.

With the X9 Maverick being a three-round burst, it requires an entirely different set of attachments compared to other assault rifles. You'll want to increase the fire rate of the weapon, along with boosting its recoil control so you can stay on target when you're bursting. The X9 Maverick has terrific stats across the board, and our loadout aims to improve its damage range and accuracy. This allows you to hit your bursts more often, which only helps you get more kills. One attachment we've decided not to use is the Rapid Fire Fire Mod because it's not really needed and decreases a number of stats, including damage range. Instead, we use the Buffer Springs to improve recoil control.
