The RK-9 is an intriguing SMG in Black Ops 7, and it needs a strong loadout.
It's not often that Call of Duty offers anything but fully-automatic weapons in the submachine gun category. However, Black Ops 7 features the RK-9, a three-round burst SMG that can be absolutely lethal when kitted out with the right class. Of course, you need to know what the best loadout for the RK-9 is in Black Ops 7 if you want to take full advantage of it.

Best loadout for the RK-9 in Black Ops 7
With the RK-9 being a three-round burst weapon, it tends to have great recoil control and solid damage range. Of course, the crux of using the RK-9 is your ability to hit all of the shots within a burst. If you can manage to hit the majority of your bullets in two bursts, you'll kill enemies in the blink of an eye. For your RK-9 loadout, your goal should be to increase fire rate and damage range so you ensure you can kill enemies as quickly as possible when hitting your bursts.
Here's our recommended loadout for the RK-9:
- Muzzle: Hawker Stabilizer MK.II
- Barrel: 9.9" Bowden Cerium Barrel
- Underbarrel: MFS Ironlung Handstop (Prestige Attachment)

For this RK-9 loadout, we're not using an optic and we've also chosen to equip the Prestige Attachment for the SMG, which is the MFS Ironlung Handstop. This removes the ability to auto-fire the RK-9 by holding down the trigger, but it vastly improves fire rate and recoil control, which is a great trade-off. The rest of the loadout increases damage range and recoil control. However, you can add the Gunfighter Wildcard if you want an optic and additional mobility or accuracy with the RK-9.
