The PPSh-41 is a classic SMG that’s finally arrived in Black Ops 6.
After a three-year hiatus, the PPSh-41 has once again returned to Call of Duty. The Season 2 update in Black Ops 6 has brought back the iconic submachine gun for another round. While the PPSh-41 certainly has some competition in the SMG category, it has quite a strong loadout in Black Ops 6.
Of course, if you want to use the PPSh-41 to its fullest potential, then you need to use a specific loadout for it in multiplayer. Our loadout below ensures no one will get the drop on you and you'll surely dominate at close range regardless of the circumstances.

Without any attachments equipped, the PPSh-41 is already a powerful weapon. It barely has any recoil and it can kill enemies in around the same time as the Jackal PDW, which is the meta SMG in Season 2. However, you can make the PPSh-41 into a true contender to the Jackal with some specific attachments.
You can see our recommended loadout for the PPSh-41 in Black Ops 6 below:
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Stock: Combat Stock
- Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
As with most SMG loadouts, we've opted to forego choosing an optic. The PPSh-41 has iconic iron sights and we're sticking with them. This frees us up to equip five attachments that will help out in one of the major stat departments.
The first attachment we have is the Compensator, which reduces vertical recoil, and then there's the Vertical Foregrip to get rid of most horizontal recoil. In between those two attachments is the Reinforced Barrel to add extra damage range and bullet velocity for those mid-range gunfights.
Wrapping things up is the Combat Stock for increased mobility and the Recoil Springs to further cut down on both vertical and horizontal recoil. However, if you feel you can control the PPSh-41 well enough already, then we recommend swapping the Recoil Springs for the Extended Mag I or Fast Mags.
That does it for our best PPSh-41 loadout in Black Ops 6. If you're curious, you can also check out our loadout for the new FENG 82 light machine gun, which is the polar opposite weapon to the PPSh.
