This new assault rifle packs a massive punch in Black Ops 7.
The MXR-17 is one of the six assault rifles available at launch in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. If you played the multiplayer beta, then you likely know how strong the MXR-17 can be with the right attachments. It has tremendous damage range, nearly zero recoil, and some fantastic iron sights. However, even with all of that going for it, the MXR-17 still needs a top loadout in Black Ops 7.

Best loadout for the MXR-17 in Black Ops 7
One of the bigger downsides of using the MXR-17 is its lack of mobility. While you can use it like a larger AR, you'll want at least a slight increase to mobility and handling for any close range gunfights that you happen to get into. That will be a focus of our loadout, but we'll also be boosting some other key stats for the MXR-17 as well.
Here's our recommended loadout for the MXR-17:

The main goal of our MXR-17 loadout is to improve its recoil control and bullet velocity. The MXR-17 can be a tad strange to shoot, as it feels like some bullets are not registering due to its recoil pattern and slower fire rate. However, with out loadout, the AR shoots much sraighter and faster, and it feels far more responsive than the base weapon. We have also vastly increased damage range and aiming mobility with the loadout, giving you a fantastic balance of stats.
