The Model L is a powerful AR, but it needs a proper loadout to become a meta weapon.
The long-range meta in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone has mainly consisted of the GPR 91 and the XM4. However, as time has passed, other weapons have begun to pop up in the kill feed. One of those weapons is the Model L assault rifle, which has arguably the most user-friendly loadout in the entirety of Warzone.
The Model L is a popular weapon in Black Ops 6 multiplayer due to its high accuracy. With the right attachments, the AR barely moves when you shoot it and features terrific damage stats. If you want that performance to transfer over to Warzone, you can check out the guide below to see its recommended attachments.
How to unlock the Model L in Warzone
Before you start using the Model L, though, you'll need to unlock it. The Model L is unlocked by reaching level 40 during any prestige until you reach Master Prestige. You can bypass the gun's level requirement in one of two ways.
The first way to use a Prestige Token on the Model L and the second way is to purchase or earn a blueprint for the weapon. If you earn a blueprint through the Battle Pass or purchase one from the shop, the Model L will become permanently unlocked for you in Warzone.

Attachments for the best Model L loadout in Warzone
Now that you have the Model L unlocked, it's time to create the best loadout for it in Warzone. Fortunately, the Model L doesn't need too much help, so we can craft a fairly standard loadout for it that checks all the regular stat boxes.
- Optic: Jason Armory 2x
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
If you wish to run an extra three attachments on the Model L using the Gunfighter wildcard, here are the ones we recommend:
- Rear Grip: Commando Grip
- Stock: Balanced Stock
- Fire Mods: Recoil Springs
The Model L only really needs five attachments to succeed in Warzone, so we wouldn't worry about equipping Gunfighter. With the loadout we've crafted, you'll see all your major stats increase with the exception of handling. However, as the Model L is best suited for longer range fights, you'll want your secondary weapon, such as the Jackal PDW or PP-919, to handle those close range engagements.
