The M13 has been a popular and balanced assault rifle in Warzone since the game first launched. It offers fantastic range while boasting low recoil and a high TTK. But, with that being said, what’s the best M13 loadout for Warzone?
The M13 was first introduced in Modern Warfare (2019) and it quickly became a fan-favourite assault rifle. It’s based on the ACR, which was a particularly popular AR in Modern Warfare 2, released back in 2009. These days, it’s a hit and miss weapon for Call of Duty’s battle royale mode, but what is the best M13 loadout for Warzone?
Following the launch of Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare’s primary weapons experienced a decline in popularity. Once upon a time, players favoured weapons like the M4, the Grau, Bruen, and yes, the M13. However, when Cold War launched, the meta changed to include the Aug, FFAR, and the M16 – all Black Ops variants.
Although, the landscape is ever-changing, and the M13 has seen many reprisals. At all times, it seems to remain a stable weapon, with low recoil and an extremely rapid rate of fire. It boasts one of the fastest TTKs in the class, and it’s a versatile piece of equipment.
The Battle of the ARs
As Call of Duty Warzone remains a dynamic title, updates are happening each and every day. That fact has led to a fluid meta, with the ‘best weapons’ changing with every individual update. While these changes might introduce the most minor differences to the guns themselves, some updates can make a once weak weapon a powerhouse.
Since Warzone launched in March 2020, the M13 has never really had a true ‘buff’ or ‘nerf’, but has remained fairly consistent. It’s a relatively difficult weapon to unlock if you’re only playing Warzone, as it doesn’t become available until rank thirty-nine.
By contrast, the M4A1, a relatively ‘entry-level’ assault rifle, is unlocked at rank four. There’s plenty of competition for the M13 – and there always has been – but it does successfuly hold its own. However, when you’re looking for the best M13 loadout for Warzone, there can be quite the debate as to which attachments work the best.
Breaking Down The Best M13 Loadout for Warzone
There’s no doubting that the M13 is one of the most attractive assault rifles in Warzone. It looks fantastic, and it handles even better, particularly when using this loadout. The design we’ve created above is a high-TTK, low-recoil example that will ensure you dominate the battlefield.
Here are the best attachments for your M13 in Warzone:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Supressor
- Barrel: Tempus Marksman
- Optic: Corp Combat Holo Sight
- Underbarrel: Tactical Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
Now, let’s break that down even further.
Firstly, equipping the Monolithic Supressor ensures your M13 will have the best range and stealth capabilities. It’ll keep you hidden from the mini-map when you’re engaging enemies, which is ridiculously important in Warzone. Furthermore, the boost in range means you’ll be acquiring targets from further away.
Next, we’ve included a Tempus Marksman barrel, which also boosts the overall range and maximum damage range of the M13. This barrel is by far the best option, as it enables you to really hit hard at a distance. That’s the key requirement for an assault rifle, after all.
The Corp Combat Holo Sight is more a personal preference, but it does have a fantastic sight window. You’ll be able to pick out your adversaries at close, medium, and long range, and hit your targets accurately.
Then, we’ve attached a Tactical Foregrip, which makes the already easy to control recoil that much smoother. It makes a solid platform for keeping the sights on your target even outside of mounting. While you can play with other underbarrel grips, this one works best.
Finally, we’ve included the 60 Round Mags attachment, which is vital for the M13. As it boasts such a high rate of fire, you’ll burn through the standard 30 round clip in absolutely no time at all. When you’re fighting more than one person at a time, you simply need the extra rounds.
Best M13 Tactics for Warzone
The M13 is best used in the hands of a mid-to-long range marksman. It’s unlikely that you’ll be using the M13 to make close-range pushes, and if you do, you’ll almost certainly be running Overkill. In this situation, you’ll switch out to an SMG or a shotgun for close-range engagements.
At range, the M13 is a stable weapon, and you’ll be picking off enemies crossing open areas with ease. If you see an enemy in the distance, the best tactic with the M13 is to mount against a low wall and beam the target. If you shots hit consistently, you’ll have them downed in little more than a single second.
Take some time to experiment with different secondary weapons and perks, but have faith in this loadout. If you equip the attachments we’ve highlighted, you should be landing big wins in no time at all.
