Is the Ladra and its loadout going to become meta in Warzone?
Season 3 Reloaded is a massive update for Call of Duty: Warzone, as it introduces Ranked Play on Verdansk and adds a plethora of other features and balancing to the game. However, an underrated addition in the update is the Ladra submachine gun, which has the potential to become a meta close-range option in Season 3. To make the Ladra viable in Warzone, though, you'll want to ensure you're using the best overall loadout for it in battle royale.
The Ladra isn't a bad SMG by default in Warzone, but it doesn't have a chance at competing with some of the top dogs in Season 3. That is, until you throw on some key attachments to turn it into an absolute monster at close and medium ranges.

Best loadout for the Ladra in Warzone
One of your first thoughts when you load up the firing range with the Ladra is that its iron sights are a tad cluttered, and the gun would perform better with an optic. While you can, of course, equip an optic if you want, you might want to push past that urge so you can equip more useful attachments. The Ladra's iron sights aren't too bad once you get used to them.
You can see our recommended loadout for the Ladra in Warzone below:
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
- Rear Grip: CQB Grip

As you can see, we have prioritized all stats for the Ladra, making it a more versatile weapon in Warzone. Starting off, the Compensator reduces vertical recoil while the Reinforced Barrel adds more damage range and bullet velocity.
Then, the Ranger Foregrip brings down horizontal recoil as well as boosts your overall movement speed, which is important when you're running away from gunshots on Verdansk. You'll also see an improvement to mobility with the CQB Grip, which increases all pertinent mobility stats for the Ladra.
Finally, the Extended Mag I adds seven more bullets to each magazine. You could also go with the Extended Mag II, but that comes with a huge mobility hit, so it's not worth it most of the time.
The Ladra could easily become one of the meta close-range options in Warzone Season 3 with this loadout, so make sure you level it quickly to use its premier attachments. If you swap over to multiplayer, check out our best Ladra loadout for Black Ops 6.
