A familiar friend returns to Warzone in Season 1.

The Season 1 update in Call of Duty: Warzone introduced all of the Black Ops 6 weapons to the game, including the new weapons in the season. The Krig C is one of the new weapons that was introduced, making its return to the series after last being featured in Black Ops Cold War.

While neither the Krig C or the Saug, the other new weapon in Season 1, have cracked the meta yet in Warzone, they're still worth trying out in battle royale. Before you enter a match with the Krig C specifically, though, you need to know its strongest attachments. We'll go over those attachments for Warzone in the guide below.

How to unlock the Krig C in Warzone

There are two ways to go about unlocking the Krig C in Warzone. The first is to progress the Season 1 Battle Pass all the way until page six. You need to complete this page's content, which features seven tiers, to fully unlock the Krig C. The Battle Pass is progressed by unlocking tiers with Battle Pass Tokens that can be earned through playtime or bought with COD Points.

However, if you're a BlackCell Battle Pass owner in Season 1, you're given 20 free tier skips immediately. You can use these tier skips and the ability to unlock any page of the Battle Pass to unlock the Krig C straight away.

If you want to go another route to unlock the Krig C, you can purchase the Mastercraft: Draconic Forge bundle from the store. This contains a Krig C blueprint that permanently unlocks the assault rifle in Warzone, even after you prestige.

Attachments for the best Krig C loadout in Warzone

Once the Krig C has been unlocked in Warzone, you can equip it in the loadout screen. From here, you'll need to level the AR up until you can equip every single one of its meta attachments, which are viewable below:

  • Optic: Willis 3x
  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II

We also have a few extra attachments to throw on the Krig C's loadout if you opt to use the Gunfighter wildcard on your class:

  • Rear Grip: Commando Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

This is a standard loadout for an assault rifle in Warzone, but it works wonders for the Krig C. Every key stat is buffed with the attachment selection except for handling. However, with an AR, you're more worried about the firepower and accuracy stats rather than overall mobility.

Compared to the other meta long range options in Season 1, like the GPR 91, the Krig C doesn't kill as quickly. It does have virtually no recoil and a fast fire rate, though, so if you can hit your shots, you'll be able to down enemies in a similar timeframe as other meta weapons.

With that, your loadout for the Krig C is complete and it's ready to dominate Urzikstan or Area 99 in Warzone. If you plan to swap over to Black Ops 6 at any point, make sure to check out our guide on the best Krig C loadout for multiplayer.
