The best SMG to use in Ranked Play.
Ranked Play has arrived in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and all competitive fans are rushing to play the mode. This is the first time Ranked Play has been introduced this early in a season since the mid 2010s. To make sure you're fully prepared for Ranked Play, you'll need the best loadouts so other players don't have an advantage over you. This also means you need to know the strongest weapons in each class for Ranked so you know what loadouts to make.
The best submachine gun to use in Ranked Play is the Jackal PDW, and you can see its strongest competitive loadout below.

Attachments for the best Jackal PDW loadout in Ranked Play
The Jackal PDW has been used by professional players in the Call of Duty League since the release of Black Ops 6, so its loadout has already been set. However, if you need to know the strongest individual attachments for it in Ranked, look below:
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
- Stock: Balanced Stock
This is the only true loadout pro players have been using for the Jackal as of late. It buffs all of your major stats and makes the Jackal competitive with assault rifles at mid-range. We highly advise against trying to beam AR players at longer ranges, as the Jackal doesn't have the best damage range.
Of course, damage range is boosted on the loadout by using the Reinforced Barrel. Accuracy is also increased with the Compensator and Vertical Foregrip, but you'll still want to keep engagements up close and personal. Fortunately, the loadout improves your mobility stats with the Ergonomic Grip and Balanced Stock.
That's the only Jackal PDW loadout you'll want to run in Ranked Play for the time being. If anything changes with the loadout, we'll be sure to update this guide in the future. You can also check out our best loadout for the Model L, which is a popular assault rifle in Ranked Play.
