The C9 has quickly become a dominant force in Warzone.

The Call of Duty: Warzone meta has been shifting all over the place during Season 3. When the season launched, we were introduced to a slew of new long-range options, which altered the meta drastically. Then, the Season 3 Reloaded update came along and made some weapon balancing changes along with adding a new submachine gun. After the dust has settled in Season 3, we're left with an interesting meta in Warzone, and, surprisingly, the C9 SMG and its best loadout are firmly at the top of the pick rate charts.

The C9 has been an above average SMG in Warzone for a couple of seasons, but it's never been the best close-range option in the game. That changed after the C9 was buffed in Season 3 Reloaded and given a fresh, shiny coat of paint. Now, the C9 has arguably one of the best loadouts in Warzone and if you want to dominate with it in Season 3, you need to know the attachments for it.

Best loadout for the C9 in Warzone

The C9 is meant for close-range engagements in Warzone, as it doesn't have the best damage range out of all the SMGs in the game. However, its recoil control is fantastic with the right attachments, so you can certainly whip the C9 out in a pinch if you need it for a mid-range gunfight.

You can see our recommended loadout for the C9 in Warzone below:

  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock

Every single stat for the C9 is boosted with this loadout, as you can see in the bottom-right corner of the screenshot above.

The loadout begins with the Reinforced Barrel to improve both its damage range and bullet velocity, two important stats for any mid-range gunfight you get into. Then, the Vertical Foregrip manages the C9's already-strong horizontal recoil control.

Next, the Extended Mag II gives the C9 an extra 20 bullets in each magazine while also lowering mobility. Fortunately, both the Ergonomic Grip and the Balanced Stock add that mobility back and then some, making the C9 a truly solid all-around weapon in Warzone.

If you're looking to pair the C9 with another weapon in Warzone, we recommend our Krig-C assault rifle loadout, which has also become a part of the meta in Season 3.
