Ranked Play in Black Ops 7 features a variety of maps and modes, so here they are all laid out.
Ranked Play in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 allows players to compete in a separate game mode with strict rules, maps, and unique ranks awarded to the best of the best in the community. The mode uses the same exact ruleset as the one that's currently seen in the Call of Duty League, which features professional players competing for millions of dollars.
While viewers of the Call of Duty League might know the Ranked Play rules and mapset, newer players or those who don't tune in to professional COD will likely have some questions. Fortunately, we're here to help, as knowing what maps and game modes you're up against in Black Ops 7 Ranked Play will help tremendously as you try to soar through the ranks.
Maps and game modes in Black Ops 7 Ranked Play
At the time of writing, we're still near the beginning of Season 2, which is when Black Ops 7 Ranked Play launched. This means that the base mapset and ruleset are still in place, and after some updates, everything is the same as the Call of Duty League.
However, as Season 2 progresses and eventually moves into Season 3 and beyond, the developers at Treyarch might update Ranked Play to include new maps, weapons, and more. Whether those updates are based on changes in the Call of Duty League or experiments to test out how new content would look in competitive play, Ranked Play often changes in some way after it's launched. Although, it's hard to see either the M15 Mod 0 or the Dravec 45 being phased out anytime soon.

For now, though, we have the same mapset and game modes that Ranked Play launched with, which are as follows:
Hardpoint
- Exposure
- Den
- Scar
- Blackheart
- Colossus
Search and Destroy
- Exposure
- Den
- Scar
- Colossus
- Raid
Overload
- Exposure
- Den
- Scar
As you can see, Exposure, Den, and Scar are in all three game modes, with Colossus in Hardpoint and Search and Destroy. Blackheart and Raid are only in one mode each, and those maps are often vetoed the most in Ranked Play.
So, despite the maps and modes you might see the most in Ranked Play, this is what's on offer when a map and mode are up during the voting process. With Season 1 and 2 of Black Ops 7 delivering some intriguing maps, though, we should see some updates to the mapset in the coming months.
