This challenge might drive you up the wall, so let’s find out how to complete it in Battlefield 6.

Battlefield 6 is jam-packed with challenges that unlock a solid amount of content for your account. From weapons to Gadgets to Soldier Skins and more, challenges are your gateway to unlocking the full potential of the game. Of course, completing some of those pesky tasks isn't always easy. One of the best examples of this is the "Repair vehicles in a match" challenge, which has halted even the best Battlefield 6 players right in their tracks.

While we can't go out and complete this challenge for you, we'll do our best to explain how you can finish it in the guide below.

Completing the "Repair vehicles in a match" challenge in Battlefield 6

First and foremost, this specific task is given to you for two separate challenges in Battlefield 6. Both of them are under the Engineer section in the "Class" Assignments tab. The first time you'll see this challenge, you'll have to repair vehicles for 2,000 health in a match. This is one of the initial challenges for the Engineer section.

Then, as you progress into the "Engineer Specialist" section of challenges, you'll have to repair vehicles for 6,000 health in a match, which unlocks the Brazer and Thunder character skins, the Engineer Badge, and the Demolisher Player Card Title in Battlefield 6. So, it's safe to say there's a lot on the line with that particular challenge. However, you'll never even reach that challenge if you can't figure out the first "repair vehicles" task.

The best, and likely only, way to complete this challenge is to use the Engineer class, hop into a match of Conquest, and spend the entire match with your Repair Tool out. Your whole job will be to sit on top of a tank and continually repair it as it takes damage from enemies. While you can walk behind the tank and repair it that way, you can mantle the tank and lie prone on the top of it so you never have to move.

Of course, the amount of damage you repair to the tank is entirely dependent on its driver and the enemy team. If the driver doesn't go into populated areas, then you won't be able to repair nearly enough damage to complete the challenge. On the other hand, if enemies are firing rockets and using their own vehicles against the tank, you likely won't be able to survive for too long.

This is precisely why it's so difficult to complete this challenge. The first challenge, which requires you to repair 2,000 health in a match, isn't too hard, as you don't have to be overly vigilant and reliant on your driver and the enemies. However, repairing 6,000 damage to vehicles in a match could take you hours, depending on those factors we just mentioned.

Repairing 6,000 damage not only requires good luck with your tank driver and the enemies, but you also need your match to last long enough to give you time to repair that amount of damage. If the match is over in 20 minutes, you likely won't come close to reaching 6,000 total repaired damage. That's why we recommend going into Conquest, as it has the longest match times on average in Battlefield 6.

All in all, you have to use your Repair Tool, sit on a tank for an entire match, constantly repair it, hope you get a good driver and bad enemies, and pray that your match lasts for 30+ minutes. If the stars align for you, you'll manage to complete this challenge in Battlefield 6.
