How to find the Dead Man’s Mail Treasure in Avowed

The Dead Man's Mail Treasure is a quest you can take on in the Shatterscarp region in Avowed. The treasure contains a map that you can follow to earn a unique reward, but the map only features a vague image of where the treasure is located.

Below, we'll go over exactly where you can find the Dead Man's Mail Treasure map and the treasure itself in Avowed.

First off, you can find the treasure map to the Dead Man's Mail Treasure by picking up the map off of a skeleton in the Great Sand Sea part of Shatterscarp. Specifically, you want to go right to the "S" in the word "Sea" on your map. Here, you'll find a small alcove where a skeleton is lying inside of a tent.

If you loot the skeleton, you can pick up the Dead Man's Mail Treasure Map and begin the quest for it in Avowed.

Now that you have the treasure map, it's time to find the location of the actual treasure. For that, you have to visit the Shark's Teeth part of Shatterscarp, which is located in the far northeastern part of the map. Specifically, you want to go to Tago's Tower, which is directly north of the "Shark's Teeth" text on your map.

At Tago's Tower, head northeast for a few meters until you find a broken watchtower, as seen in the map screenshot above. Go to where our blue arrow is located.

At the bottom of the watchtower, there is a chest that you can open. This contains the Dead Man's Mail Treasure, which is the Necropants unique greaves. There is also a bounty of other materials and rewards inside the chest you can loot.
