When you step foot into Paradis at the start of Avowed, you have a huge selection of places to visit and people to meet. One of your first stops in the settlement might be at a trader's shop, where you can buy the Intimidating Feline Codepiece Treasure Map. There are several other treasure maps you can buy in Avowed, but the Intimidating Feline Codepiece Treasure will likely be the first you come across.
All treasure maps in Avowed come with a brief description of where the treasure is and an image. You need to piece together the image and the description to find the treasure. While you can put on your detective cap and try to make heads or tails of the map, it's easier just to look at the guide below.

Finding the Intimidating Feline Codepiece Treasure in Avowed
The Intimidating Feline Codepiece Treasure is on a cliffside inside of a cave, according to the image on the map. Since the map was purchased in Paradis, which is located in Dawnshore, the treasure is located somewhere in Dawnshore.
The exact location of the treasure is right near the Watcher's Mirror area on the far eastern side of Dawnshore. If you've gotten far enough in the story of Avowed, this is the spot where The Voice's Memory is located. You can see exactly where the Watcher's Mirror is on the map screenshot below:
If you look at the map, you'll see where my blue character arrow is. Standing in that location, look north to find a trail leading up the cliffside. This is the area the treasure map indicates in the image.
Head up the trail on the cliffside to find a wooden gate that you can destroy. Head through the opening to find an abandoned room with a chest inside, which contains the Intimidating Feline Codepiece Treasure.
This completes the Treasure Map - Intimidating Feline Codepiece side quest in Avowed. You can purchase other treasure maps from traders in the various regions of Avowed, but there aren't a ton of them to buy. For the most part, you can purchase two to three treasure maps per region, so make sure you're seeking out every trader you can to see if they're selling a new map.
