Can you farm bosses in the Living Lands?
During your time in the Living Lands of Avowed, you'll stumble across no shortage of different enemies and bosses. From suicidal mushrooms to bears to all sorts of skeletons, very few fights are the same. Bosses are also unique, as each one has different mechanics that make them a difficult challenge.
As you might expect, all of these enemies drop some valuable loot in Avowed. From regular crafting materials to rare and unique weapons, you can find some incredible items just by looting an enemy's body on the ground. While this is great for the first time you face an enemy or boss in Avowed, what about if you want to face them again?
Are you able to continually reset and farm enemies or bosses in Avowed or do they simply stay dead? Find out in the guide below.

Can you farm enemies and bosses in Avowed?
While the Dreamscourge claims more victims every day in Avowed, it doesn't make enemies and bosses respawn. Any time you kill an enemy or a boss in the Living Lands, they stay dead permanently. This means you can technically clear an entire map of enemies if you traverse every inch and defeat all enemies that inhabit the map's locations. This goes for regular enemies and bosses, including bounties, story bosses, and random boss encounters you find across any map.
Essentially, the developers have made it so it's impossible for you to farm loot from enemies in Avowed. You're unable to keep defeating a boss over and over in the hopes they drop a rare weapon or to keep grabbing a key crafting material every time you defeat them. Even if you fast travel to a location and then fast travel back, the enemies in the area won't reset. While this might not sound like good news, it doesn't play out horribly in the Living Lands.
Traveling care-free across vast parts of the map you've already cleared can be a refreshing feeling. After I went through a map and uncovered all it had to offer, I was easily able to go back and complete side quests without having to worry about random enemy encounters prolonging a certain task. Of course, you might feel differently if you want to partake in combat as much as possible.
