Atomfall has a rapidly approaching release date, so what do the game’s editions offer and how can you preorder the one you want?

Atomfall could be one of the surprise hits of 2025, and it's coming to a wide array of platforms on March 27. However, you can get a few days of early access by pre-ordering a specific edition of Atomfall, which also comes with a variety of other in-game content. You're now fully able to pre-order all the editions of Atomfall, so let's take a look at everything your money can buy you with the upcoming survival-action RPG.

All Atomfall Editions: Price, content, and early access

Currently, there are only two editions you can choose from with Atomfall. One is the Standard Edition while the other is the Digital Deluxe Edition, which, as you can tell from the name, is only available digitally on your platform's marketplace.

You can see the price of each Atomfall edition and what they offer below:

Atomfall Standard Edition ($60 on console, $50 on PC)

  • Base Game
  • Basic Supply Bundle (preorder bonus) - Melee Weapon Blueprint, Loot Caches, Item Recipe

Atomfall Digital Deluxe Edition ($80 on console, $70 on PC)

  • Base Game
  • Three days of Early Access starting on March 24
  • Story Expansion Pack (coming at a later date)
  • Basic Supply Bundle (preorder bonus) - Melee Weapon Variant, Loot Caches, Item Recipe
  • Enhanced Supply Bundle - Pistol Variant, Skill Manual, Metal Detector Skin

As you can see, there's not a lot of differing content from the Standard Edition compared to the Digital Deluxe Edition. The main difference between the two editions is the more expensive Deluxe Edition comes with three days of early access, an extra Supply Bundle, and the eventual Story Expansion Pack.

The Story Expansion Pack will be sold separately for anyone who buys the Standard Edition. So if you plan on playing Atomfall for months to come, then this value alone makes the Digital Deluxe Edition worth the extra $20. However, if you're on the fence with Atomfall or you plan to play on Game Pass, then just stick with the Standard Edition or at least wait until the reviews are out.

How to preorder Atomfall

If you don't plan on playing Atomfall on Game Pass but still want to play on the first day or three days earlier, then you need to preorder the game. For most players, you can simply preorder any one of the Atomfall editions by going to your platform's marketplace, searching for the game, and buying it before its official release date. This confirms your preorder, allows you to preload the game before it launches, and secures the preorder bonus of the Basic Supply Bundle.

However, if you want a physical copy of Atomfall, you're only limited to the Standard Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition is digital-only, so you can't preorder it from any retailer. If you want a physical copy of the Standard Edition, go to any established local retailer to place your preorder. Target, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Amazon, and other retailers all sell the Standard Edition.
