OG head to Romania with the possibility of making it three TI titles in a row. Making the trip with them will be Mikhail “Misha” Agatov, their new head coach.

The International hype is really starting to kick in! The two-time world champions, OG, just revealed their latest addition into the team; welcoming Mikhail “Misha” Agatov as their official head coach for TI10.

Misha will lead OG as head coach for the grand event

OG had quite a rough journey throughout the season (if it isn’t their traditional storyline) and a few months ago, the community doubted the defending champion’s chances of appearing on the grandest stage this year. Later on, fans breathed in relief when OG squirmed through the qualifiers, beating Tundra Esports in a close 3-2. Throughout their journey since the 2nd season of Dota Pro Circuit and the TI qualifier, working behind the scenes as the coach of OG, was Misha.

OG acquired Misha when the team agreed to have something different to bring back OG’s legacy to The International stage. Titouan “Sockshka” Merloz who was OG’s previous coach, has been moved to assistant coach and will remain in OG.

OG's warm reception for their new coach

“It’s a big honor for me to help my favorite team succeed. I’m super happy to be working with OG, can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.”

Johan "N0tail" Sundstein, OG’s captain, gave a warm welcome to Misha, stating that it’s an honor to go to TI with the fellow. Sébastien "Ceb" Debs, OG’s offlaner, also welcomed the young player to the family. “We started working with him after a rough season, and we immediately felt the change. He has poured his soul into this project since day 1, and he was a key part of us qualifying to TI10.” Ceb said in a statement.

Misha is already with the squad in their boot camp in Lisbon, Portugal, gearing up towards the biggest Dota 2 event to date. The back-to-back champions will defend their title on 7th-17th October 2021 in Bucharest, Romania. It is apparent that Misha’s role has been crucial for OG. It will be exciting to see what his presence will bring to the team in TI10 to claim their desired triple.
